  1. Past hour
  2. A one year deal for a squad player who we know will struggle to be fit for half a season is a waste of money. I hope Wimmer has better ideas than that. Moult was great when he was here. When we sold him, he was crocked and has struggled to play an entire season ever since. It's a shame for the guy, but we shouldn't be signing him any more than we should have re-signed van Veen. Bring him back as a coach to teach new signings how to shoot.
  3. He's better than anything we have and normally I'm dead against the charity service we offer to former players and yes the pull for Moult is strong because of the feeling he has for the club and vice versa. That said he's one Id take a chance on and add as a squad player, he IS BETTER than what we have , he would not cost a fortune. A one year deal as a squad player is no great risk. Christ we paid £250,000 for AP and I'm still yet to be convinced about him or the fact whether he will actually play for us again.
  4. Season tickets now on sale. Not surprisingly involving price increases, especially for some concessions. Quite a few alterations to age categories. Glad to see the Under 13 regulation has now been changed to Under 12. Age 60 concession threshold now upped to 65 - seems reasonable. New pricing category 18-21. New Under 5 free category.
  5. No doubt there will be the usual clamour from the usual suspects in our support for us to sign him again. Those same suspects who were happy to see us mugged off by us signing McFadden the second and third time and some of them would probably be happy enough if we offered McFadden a three year deal tomorrow. But absolutely under no circumstances should we be going anywhere near Louis Moult this summer. He’s had his time with us and it’s been and gone. It’s in the past so let’s leave it there and enjoy the memories. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at St.Mirren with Robinson mind you.
  6. Today
  7. Not a great loss but does leave us short. I would go flat back 4 with Johnny k and Thompson as full backs. 4 in midfield and 2 up top
  8. I know his best days are behind him and his injury record is not the best but he'd still be a big upgrade on the alleged strikers we have now. That said I don't think we should be signing him again.
  9. Kofi Balmer is listed as injured for Saturday. No word yet on Liam Gordon. Steve Seddon back in full training (but not fit). St Johnstone might be short at the back but we're little better.
  10. Correct but younger, with ability and a sell on value would be better, quality over quantity.
  11. Yesterday
  12. I think the bringing players back mentality left with our CEO tbh
  13. He will probably end up at Dundee if they survive the drop and they are in the market for a centre half. He wont want to have to re-locate back in the central belt when he is from up that way. He probably IS a better centre half than we have at the moment, but his best years are behind him and not the kind of signing we need to be making. Younger, with a sell on value is our demographic....
  14. Your not some kind of Nigerian Prince with a lottery win pending by chance are you.
  15. Probably his sparkling personality eventually shone thru and he's fell out with the manager or they found out he was not a nice person. Couldn't care less where he ends up as long as its no here.
  16. The Herald report says Goodwin "wants to lower the age profile". I imagine they can save a few quid too.
  17. He's hoping to find a club in the Premiership. If he's done that well at Tannadice why are they letting him go?
  18. It's worth making pal but not for me, we move on
  19. A very welcome sum of money, hopefully a positive start to a week which hopefully will be even better come 5.00 on Saturday
  20. Its encouraging to see our club has been awarded just over £303,000 for the period 2020-24. Its the 4th highest payout in the Premiership and relates to compensation for the release of players for international competitions. Full details here. https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/dundee-united/5227364/dundee-united-st-johnstone-dunfermline-uefa-payout/
  21. Since he left us, I don' think he's performed near the same level. We got his peak levels. He's a better footballer than our current centre backs, mind you, but he's obviously not coming back for obvious reasons.
  22. Declan Gallagher leaving Utd at the end of the season. Utd fans shocked as they view he’s been one of their best players this season and they wanted him re-signed. id take him back. I’ll just leave my view hanging there like a rancid fart.
  23. Got it fine👍🏻thanks again so much if you pm bank or PayPal details I can send you the £5
  24. That's it purchased. I'll send you it shortly
