Thought we were poor the first 20mins or so and our only tactic appeared to be long ball to beat the trap. Stepped it up however & played decent stuff in spells. If we had a bit more firepower we could have taken a stack off them. Made it hard in the end, but 3points is what matters. Thought Sparrow had a really good game & that was probably fat tonys best match since he came back. Mon the well!

Hearts sacked Critchley now in other news , they are very very poor
-
Think he was pretty prolific in the Lowland League with Hearts and presumably they had doubts he could make the step up when they let him go last year. Definitely looked impressive today but aye, he would probably have better options. I would imagine he is under contract for at least one more year so may be beyond our means even if we do receive a big transfer fee this summer. Nothing ventured, nothing gained through.

Evening folks. Yes usual rollercoaster but hey its 3pts and we are now 7th. Would take ridiculous run of results to see us in play off place. Slattery, Johnny k , watt very good. Wilson must be honking If he can't get game ahead of Thompson. Huge rebuild in summer but let's enjoy the victory. Would have been scary If we had lost....COYW

Kcuf em? š¤£š¤£

Not having a go but I would quite like to see an MJC league table like the BBC used to do with Mark Lawrenson's predictions. I'm not sure we'd hit double figures.
-
Went for Watt. Great running, won his fair share in the air, an assist and unlucky not to score in the second half. Could easily have went for Koutroumbis or Slattery. Sparrow also had a good game for the most part.
- Today

We do seem to have a knack of making things difficult for ourselves but great 3 points in the end.
-
Tough watch today but it was good to see Wimmer changing things up and there were a few really good individual performances too.
-
I think that's a bit bizarre tbh
-
I thought the same but well done to the team for proving me wrong
-
I was wrong about that, I accept that. Obviously I didnāt have a crystal ball when I made that statement, I based it on our form and results this season. One win since the beginning of March and more or less zero shots on target in the last three games. Once we retreated into our shells in the second half and conceded to bring it to 3-2 with over 20 minutes to go then was it really unreasonable or unrealistic to think weād throw the win away? Finallyā¦.my ānegative schitckā being āmy thingāā¦.Iām saying nothing. But Iām still waiting on your evidence of Hearts fans posting stuff to the effect of ādonāt worry Rangers, weāve got your back tomorrowā that you claimed that youād seen on Twitter/X in March 2024. Any luck with that or shall we just file it under 100 odd things that never happened? š¤·āāļø

I'll be honest, I am normally quite an optimist, but when I saw the team today, could not see us winning at all. Well what do I know, shows why I am not the manager and Wimmer is!
-
That's the Hearts manager just been sacked.
-
Football is incredible. We are down 1-0 and Dundee and Killie score simultaneously. My 'we are safe' chat looks in real jeopardy and suddenly we score two goals within a few minutes. I think it is now safe to say.... We are safe!!! Was never in doubt ( takes a massive sigh of relief). Wimmer can start planning for next season. Hopefully he had a cohesive plan because we do not seem to have had one of those for years.
-
The way you definitively said we weren't winning the game, you'd think you knew the result already. I know your negative schtick is "your thing" on here, but you have to then take the lumps when you make an arse of it.
-
With respect. Perhaps the issue is that you predict that we are going to get beat every week PS. Im not trying to dig you out. I get how hard it is being a Motherwell fan. But - we do win games
-
Thatās a decent shout but other clubs will probably be trailing him too. Still if you donāt askā¦.
-
But itās easy to say āmuch ado about hee hawā once the games finished and the result is knownā¦.isnāt it?
-
Hey, it wasn't me who made a definitive statement about us not winning the game.
-
Think so
-
Tony Tony Tony Tony Watt for me
-
I know he took a bad one in pre-season, and didn't feature until October. Guess it takes a while to get used to the Scottish game too, tbf.
-
I've been saying the same thing for weeks on other socials thats the teams below us will drop points
-
Agree @mio it's looking promising for us. As poor as we are there's 5 other clubs who are equally poor or worse. It's conceivable that we'll all pick up points against each other. Very glad not to be dragged into the mire.
