  1. Nope. We got peak Kev in his last season. Given his age and his normal goal scoring form of single digit seasons, I never wanted him back. Just bask in his record breaking season and look forward to the next Kev we uncover. I'd be happier if we kept Vale for next season.

  3. In the real world a player is only as valuable as what another team are prepared to pay, no offers no sale and he walks for nothing next summer.

  6. Probably something to do with his 204 career goals vs Theo's 21.

  7. I give you Kevin Van Veen we cashed in perfectly on him, as we did with Michael Higdon. The Motherwell way is cash in when the decent cash is on offer.

  8. We can keep him till next summer, if his agent has a sniff of a better deal for him elsewhere he wont sign an extension and let his contract run down and we get feck all. So if that happens the club will say yes take the money on offer and say thanks Theo best of luck with your career.

  9. We need to remember he is only on a 2yr contract. I am not looking to sell him but if we get a good offer be wise to cash in. Reminds me of Connor Sammon at Killie, had 1 good season, derby paid £2 million and he done her haw afterwards

  11. Someone said that on Friday over on P&B. Whether Cowan has heard that from the same source or he's just lifted it from the P&B Forum, who knows.

  12. Indeed. I'd also be happier if he played a bit closer to Bair...

  13. I read an article about Rotherham's financial struggles and the manager (I think) saying for anyone to put money in it has to be a "passion project" rather than an investment. That's the challenge for most clubs, and you have to be lucky to find someone who would treat it like that - like a fan who wins the lottery. So it's unlikely that any 'normal' investor won't want some sort of return and/or control.

  15. Now there’s two of the bogeymen under steelboys bed, which with the amount of bogeymen he sees must either be a very big bed or very crowded under there.

  16. I mean it's worrying that they might be warming us up to announce he's a signed a new deal. He's our top earner and by far the worst goalkeeper in the league. We are the worst team at defending set pieces in the league because of him. We have to sign a new starting goalkeeper and free up his wage for a player that can make a positive contribution.
