Heard a rumour that Kettlewell told the players to make sure they lost the game today so that four absolute wankers could have an evening of bitching on an internet forum. After four games without a defeat, they might not have survived another.10 points

Unless we get a new manager it won't make any difference. The players Kettlewell has brought in are far worse than the players he inherited.3 points

Easily done with corrupt officials in your corner for 2 of those games3 points

Completely agree Dave. Kelly is a good shot stopper but the other parts of his game are limited, especially commanding his box and dealing with crosses. I'm sure we could recruit an equally talented shot stopper who is a better all round keeper than Kelly on the same or even less money.2 points

I have no idea whatsoever about SK's contract negotiations with Liam Kelly, nor should I. However if we are keen to retain his services then it has to be framed as part of a far wider package. To me that isn't worth it, as he's not that crucial to our defensive capabilities. If we are to retain him, we'll need a formation and wing backs capable of preventing crosses into the box.. We'll also need to sign two huge and commanding central defenders to protect him from aerial threats. Thats an awful lot to ask in order to keep your goalie.2 points

The only thing more eye-stabblingly painful than the annual "writing off new players we have signed" ritual is the annual "writing off players we haven't signed" ritual.2 points

A good day today in terms of results although it would have been the icing on the cake to pick up something ourselves. For us to be caught by either Ross County or St Johnstone now they need to record 2 wins and 2 draws and 2 wins and a draw respectively, and for us to pick up nothing. We should be safe enough for 9th place and the bottom 6 table will probably look pretty much as is in terms of final placings. I'd have bitten your hand off months ago to finish 10th never mind 9th. The consolation for our good friends in Dingwall and Perth is that whoever finishes 11th should coast through the play offs.1 point

I have certainly criticised Kelly but not "slagged him off". I have said many times that without him 3 years ago we would have been relegated. However.......he has not been the same keeper this season, has made great saves but doesn't inspire confidence and doesn't command his area. But also at same time there have been a lot far worse keepers than him in recent years for us1 point

Spittal dropped to bench for me, has been great for us but just been a passenger recently since pre contract with Hearts announced. Natural he won't be as up for it and wanting to avoid injury1 point

Aye it's the thought of O'Donnell, Kelly, McGinn, Halliday, Nicholson and Vale being here next season that worries me.1 point

Fairly sure it would have been in the email sent to season ticket holders explaining that their ticket would be free.1 point

That caught me completely unaware when it came on. I’m an emotional wreck at the best of times but that tipped me over the edge last night. Nice wee bit but still very hard to deal with.1 point

View from the terrace just done a lovely article on uncle Phil, very emotional watching it and I know his 2nd term was a disaster but we should never forget McGhee's first spell at club and also how he handled things through that season1 point

Who do we need to compete with, only Motherwell fans buy Motherwell season tickets, so not increasing the prices is a good thing. A price increase even a modest one might have pushed the price beyond some people's budget. So if there's no need for an increase its happy days and a good move by the club.1 point

Since we won at Ibrox we've played five games and been in the lead for a single minute when Moses scored at Dundee. We haven't kept a single clean sheet and have conceded goals from being unable to defend corners in every game. We've scored 5 goals with the earliest one being at 74 minutes. We were hardly in good form before today.0 points
