  1. 100% agree, when a player leaves Motherwell I don't care where they are now or how well or badly their career has went. The random media posts look like someone creating content just for the sake of it, nobody gives a shit what happened years ago. We want up to date info on how the club is doing on field and off, the alleged new investment, new player signings etc etc.

  2. First of all goals scorers have to do it season after season to be worth big bucks. Bair doesn't have two decent seasons in a row yet. Secondly, we are playing at a level of football that is, frankly, guff and miles behind any level of English football that's paying six figures. There are exceptions but most of the players that move down south don't do much, especially strikers. Sam Cosgrove being a good example. Diddy player, had a couple of good seasons of form in Scotland, went down south, did FA. Birmingham paid 2 million quid for him and he never scored a single goal for them. Minus penalties, Bair scored 12 goals last season. To make a million on him over a season on that level of performance at our level would be a great result. If you can get 3 million even better but I'd be very surprised if anyone paid that for him. You think teams with an overall transfer budget of probably tens of millions would be looking at him? I don't.

  4. Plenty of older folk don’t have a pc or laptop and have no idea how to buy stuff online or register on a website to get tickets. if they want to go to a game they need to queue up to buy a ticket an hour before the game and then queue again to get in. A lot just don’t like all the hassle and get embarrassed when folk question why they can’t buy a ticket online.

  5. I believe that the team a player played for in the season leading up to a tournament is due payment. And pro rata if a player switched sides mid season. That would make sense and seem fair. Not 100% sure but I think I read that on the Uefa site before the last Euros. Kelly is not unique in being homeless at present. Armstrong just joined that club.

  6. I rather hope we sell Bair to Blackburn - get cash and in exchange keep Gent and Vale. If we could get £700k + those 2 players it would be an excellent bit of business

  7. Awe c'mon Bair is at best a Championship player. Accept has improved but his lack of basics (ball control, heading and positional awareness) are severely lacking. He is often AWOL during a game and pops up for a penalty. For a guy his height and upper body strength should be a Joe Jordan ! Talk of £m offer is ludicrous and if we receive an offer £500k bite their hand off. IMO slightly better Oli Shaw and arrived to sit on bench

  8. I quite enjoy some of the old random posts so while it was nice of you to speak for everyone, I’ll have to continue enjoying the old random posts but your last paragraph I’ll agree with so I can enjoy both.

  9. I mostly don't either, but the Former Motherwell Players thread generates enough posts to suggest other people do. Likewise, a number of fans seem to follow ex-players on Twitter (X). To be honest, if it's too annoying or to have to scroll past one tweet, then maybe Twitter/X isn't for you. Of course posts this time of year are mostly filler, because there is little activity anywhere apart from pitch remediation and players being on holiday.

  13. Half the stadium is empty every week, I think they are missing out on a lot of business and people who at the last minute cant go because it’s too late to buy a ticket online. also £235 isn’t a drop in the ocean to a lot of old Well fans on a pension.
