No doubt, however plenty of evidence how impeccably the WS Board has conducted themselves diplomatically as well as solid factual arguments as to why this was a farcically terrible deal.
My take on it is Chairman Jim was happy to pay lip service to fan ownership while there was a passive WS to not give him much push back, he has seen the change in skillset, attitude, and a more challenging WS Board and shown his true colours by trying to kill the WS with this deal
While I agree with you Steelboy's concerns are legit, maybe not his end of season projection there but I think you can build the team around Miller but expect better than Paton to be his out ball. I don't mind Paton but I have concerns that SK loves him and will squeeze him into the team every week if he can.
That's the spirit!
I'd hate to see them try to claim that the Well Society voted against, but other shareholders didn't. There shouldn't be even the faintest crumb of comfort for anyone associated with this bid.
It matters not a jot where Miller plays. If you don't think our team, and specifically our midfield, is being built around him you're deluded.
The team certainly isn't being built around Harry Paton.
It's meaningless numerically, to an extent, yes.
It's not meaningless when it adds to the total percentage of shareholders who said "no", just to hammer home the point.
It's also not meaningless because you get to tell him to fuck off twice, which is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
I think Paton is OK and adds some energy to our engine room. However I see him as being a box to box player being played out of position whilst Nicholson is unavailable. We badly need an understudy or alternative to Nicholson.
I was never a fan of McCoist, but his stock sank to a new low when he issued his "who are these people?" rant whilst manager of Sevco. The very definition of playing to the gallery.
He always has been. He has the ‘gift of the gab’ though so people fall for his cheeky chappy, everyone’s pal act. He’s false and pretentious and laughs at his own shite patter. I wouldn’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth.
The big issue up here is with the pundits with ferdinand and Wright the worst but jeez mccoist took it to a new level last night. Unbearable.
Total respect to Gary Neville after calling it a disgraceful decision
