  2. We signed Bair following a friendly match vs St Johnstone in December 2022 when the World Cup break was on - Kettlewell in his post as Reserves Manager was at the game and Bair scored 3 against us as well as ragdolling the defence for the remainder of the game, that's where SK saw the potential. Great business for us given he could go onto having another "off" season, wish him all the best! An absolute grafter!

  12. I think something akin to Almondvale would suit us fine in terms of capacity, but preferably with "something" about it, if that makes sense? Like maybe a slightly higher stand on either or side. Something like Nancy's with half the capacity would be nice (I like the slightly larger stands on either side of the pitch for example): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stade_Marcel_Picot

  14. St Mirren Park holds 8,000 and hosts a lot of the youth/women's games.

  15. Been saying for years we need to move, I've moved from members row f in POD where at 6ft plus I have nowhere to put my legs and my knees end up in uncomfortably close proximity to the head of the guy in front of me, now sit at back of south section, better overall view and space, can handle no backs on the seats. I've sat in every home stand, and tbh not a lot of the seats give good views, those that do are snapped up quite rightly by season tkt holders. I often wonder if this could have an influence on our crowds because when we do get an extra thousand or so in they won't be in great viewing seats. Sooner or later the POD will fail a safety, and whilst I have a sentimental attachment, a move into a well designed 10000 or so seater (like AFC Wimbledons) would be great.

  16. https://x.com/ScotlandSky/status/1812842871642563045 Bair in France to seal his move, apparently. Saying the move is worth "in excess of £1.4m".

  17. I would be happy with Moses and Robinson leading the line really like the look of them both however we are really crying out for someone on the creative side of things feel like we are missing on that front.

  18. I reckon most people would not bother if we left Fir Park, as long as the new Stadium was easy to get to, had great facilities, some car parking adjacent to it and the Stadium was completely enclosed, like almondvale only better. Oh and it was not a generic 4 stands, open corners design.

  23. It's possible for opinion to evolve, you don't have to take a fundamentalist position, especially in an ever changing landscape like football. Bair was rubbish at St Johnstone. When we signed him, Kettlewell obviously saw something in him, but he had no track record as a player and I don't think the fan reaction was unjustified. He was better at Motherwell and I think almost all were happy enough to judge him on his form in claret and amber. I think it will be interesting to watch his career because he's a difficult player to really judge. I'd compare him to someone like Cedric Kipre, he has an athleticism and physique that puts him above our level, but he's very raw and you wonder if he has the technique or game intelligence to really go to the top of the game. Good luck to him and hopefully we get to invest some of the fee in the team.
