There's seats on the club board up for grabs and we could do with someone as level-headed as yourself driving the club forward.3 points

Completely forgot to update this, mainly because I couldn't get the photo of me and Pat small enough to comply with site rules. Anyway, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, Pat's a great speaker, took loads more questions than the compère wanted him to and stuck around for ages at the end. I was able to have a good chat with him and so did my mates who are from Dundee, Fife, Glasgow, all over really. A few of us bought his book too which I have now read and I have to say that I feel very differently about him now. John Boyle needs to take a larger portion of the blame along with the money men at his company Hamilton. Pat seemed to be an honest, kind and intelligent person who was as upset and annoyed as anyone when the cutbacks started. Also, Pat's insights into some of the behind the scenes stuff like Billy Davies' mental state, Eric Black's coaching ability, Terry Butcher putting David Kelly in his place and many others was really eye-opening. All-in-all, I understand the hate but he put his heart and soul into the club for those three or so years.3 points

Cadden obviously knew he was signing with the Americans in an attempt to exploit a loophole to benefit Oxford. The contract he signed in the US was worth less than he was on at Fir Park so he knew exactly what he was doing. In the end he only shafted himself. The stereotypical thick footballer.2 points

You can call me a lot of things but happy clapper isn't one of them. It's just your position, and others, is absolutely preposterous at this stage of the season.2 points

Excellent performance on a top quality surface, we're now motoring along nicely and should take a right few off Thistle next week. I feared we would lose a bit when we lost the highly impressive Paton in the engine room, but Halliday took us to another level, they both carried young Miller and he'll learn a lot from these top pro's. It's also clear to see that our front line has bags of goals in it, the inter-changing passing and dynamic movement was a joy to watch. A really well organised defence and excellent goalkeeper stopped this from being a rout. Big shout out as well to the ref, he really is one of the best in the game. What a fucking time to be alive.2 points

Halliday is playing really well, looks like SK knows what he is doing.2 points

Commentary is there, but I think he's doing it without a mic from Morrison's car park.2 points

Whoever voted SOD needs to contact a medical professional. Miller head and shoulders above everyone else on the park.1 point

Honestly, I'd rather be a happy clapper than a cynical ball of discontent every time Motherwell win. I feel sorry for people like you. It's football. Enjoy it. If it causes you such unhappiness turn it off and go do something else with your spare time.1 point

A game we should have had wrapped up before Clyde equalised with a comedy of errors from us. There were pluses and minuses all over the game. Thought we looked far more Direct than we did last season. Paton and to my surprise Halliday drove us forward pretty well. Still not convinced about Blaney. Finishing was woeful. Lennon Miller showed some neat play and I thought Wilson looked as if he has something about him. A mixed bag but we got the job done, onto the next game. Anyone else think our penalty was soft?1 point

I'm quite happy to take any win on plastic, especially that plastic. It's embarrassing that we continue to allow it in a professional league.1 point

The problems of last season remain regardless of the signings because we’ve got the same manager and approach to games. It’s that simple.1 point

Good goal by Moses. Exactly the type of goal he should be scoring as he’s very much a penalty box striker.1 point

I suspect Clyde will play a similar game to Ediburgh City and Montrose. They'll also have the benefit of having see us struggle against those 2 sides. I wonder if any of our injured players will be fit enough to make an appearance? We certainly need more presence up front, a more offensive/creative midfield and more pace from the wing backs. So, more of the same won't do. Will Kaleta be fit? Will we play play 2 up front? Will Stuparevic start? Whatever, we need to shake it up a bit.1 point

Kettlewell should get sacked win or lose if he plays one up front today1 point

I could never say that of an EK bus member of old, when we filled a 72 seater every week 🤣. #Blyth The Driver Was God.1 point

This looks dreadful to me? What are the shorts like or are we wearing kilts with it?1 point

I'm not sure that's the case. Nevin was overly generous with contracts but the bottom line is he working to a budget until Boyle pulled the rug from him. We were pretty much put into Admin at the exact same time Boyle founded Zoom Airlines. I don't think the timing is a coincidence and it looks like he just decided to stop spending money on a football club and sank it into an airline instead.1 point
