  1. Although it does save me the cost of coming over to see Celtic beat us in the final.

  3. Is Neil lennon the man to take the club forward ? I think he e would have the short term fix desired, long term he just morfs into a slebbering seething raving lunatic ( according to hivs pal of mine ) would he stick around for the normal 2 years our managers get ? does he want a “ sacked by motherwell “ on his CV, or will he get another chance at a biggar club ? sometimes i would think the easy media money without the headaches is the way forward, personally i dont really know who fits in with us but whoever it is needs to find a formation and personal that could play the way SK had is playing at the start hard to break down, n score against, and attack n defend as a unit, with a few goals for good measure only make take onit but hey ho we shall see

  5. How can footballers play creative, free flowing football or even quality football when the were told to play out of positions they are comfortable with so often and to a strict formation , a defensive type of game . That must have been frustrating for players to stick to those plans . Won't miss SK negative football .

  6. Maybe we could hire Callum Davidson as a cup tie consultant - he knows how to win those games. His St Johnstone team was brutal to watch, though, so wouldn't want him as a gaffer. On the same topic, glad to see Tommy Wright wasn't mentioned as an option this time. There were many East Stand experts who said he was the man for our job just before he applied his eye-bleeding brand of football to steering Killie into the Championship instead.

  7. That result just brightened up my day especially missing the “penalty Rangers” at 90+5

  8. That was hysterical. The ref tried really hard to get the penalty retaken as well. The Onion Bears did a lovely rendition of god save the king at the end there as well…… that just added to my enjoyment… gutted for them 🤣

  9. Yogi hughes was in front of them though in the queue, discussing the tuna crunch and how it “hid a bit o character aboot it” That could swing in in his favour.

  10. Didn't hear it either, but I don't think Tam Cowan touting lennon will have any influence on the boards decision.... or if it does we have much bigger problems 😬 Edit: and by that I don't mean the next manager in charge!!

  11. I thought that we did show some improvement, but not a great deal, in terms of work rate and attitude. Celtic worked far harder than us when we had possession. By comparison we sat off them, Kettlewell style, and didn't put tackles in. Not all players gave 100%. A huge change in attitude and work rate is required for next weekend. Even allowing for injuries, I believe that the current crop is capable of upping their game considerably. They have to be motivated though and played to their strengths. A priority is to sort out our midfield and defence to make sure we're harder to play against, and to give our striker(s) more ammunition and support. They also need to be told in no uncertain terms, that a game isn't finished at half time, it lasts for 90+ minutes.

  12. Is Tam Courts not very Kettlewell-y? Would be very surprised if it was any of the Davies, Lennon, Naismith (etc) type names that the bookies are chucking about.

  13. Agree, formation didnt change but application & determination did. We were still in the game for 70 odd minutes & made celtic work for their win. Thats a big contrast from most of the shite served up this season

  14. If they want the 2025/26 season ticket sales to take a hit, they’ll not appoint a new manager this week.

  15. Massive game and I am going to bang the cheerleader drum again. We need the support to get right behind the team. Any discontent just plays right into Ross County hands. The fans deserve a big performance after the way we have been treated last fortnight ( apart from the clowns that were giving SK abuse) COYW

  16. The playing side has been boring to watch for spectators, and also ineffective of late. A fresh pair of eyes and a new broom are required to sweep away the staleness. They are vital. Hopefully the club is attuned to fan discontent and unrest.
