  1. 100% cannot afford to lose this game or we are in deep shit. A win gives the new manager some breathing space to figure things out and keeps us in touch with the top 6. It really couldnt be any more important.

  3. I don't understand your negativity as your were always positive about bellend even after he had lied his way out the door . The vast majority on here and every well fan I know was glad to see the back of that charlatan. Try and be positive and have patience with the new manager as he has inherited a squad of players that many are not up to the standard required for this league. I certainly am looking forward to see what he can achieve.

  4. 3pts tomorrow would be great for Michael and Ahmet. Desperate for these guys to succeed, come across as nice guys determined to bring success. I can imagine the fitness levels will be getting stronger

  5. As we seen on saturday it's very easy to lose a game 1-0,we need to start cutting out the stupid goals we're conceding to give us half a chance for the rest of the season and allow us to fall on the right side of they tight games.if we can tighten up at the back and stama can stay fit this time then we should do enough not to be involved in a relegation battle.tomorrow is huge though no doubt about it.

  6. Let's wait and see what happens tomorrow, 3pts totally changes the dynamics.

  7. Slattery cares But agree. Squeaky bum time It's just bloody hard going through this every bloody season - in my defence I'm old and I've seen this too many times. We just make things so much harder than they need to be. Every season I really hope Wimmer turns this around. No wonder I drink wine

  8. I've seen quite a few relegation teams over the years, but I don't see it in this one at the moment. Even just the fact they will play hard to the final whistle is a good sign. I won't be surprised if we're 8th or 9th, but if the new gaffer can get a higher tempo, higher energy team playing that might help compensate a bit for the wobbly defence.

  9. Goal scorers need to get the ball before they can score goals. The tactics that the bellend had us playing made it extremely difficult to score goals. But thankfully he has gone and I think the new manager will instill confidence in the squad and we will improve, although we lost on Saturday the stats showed that we had more possession and more attempts on goal so after one game we can see improvement already .

  10. Would be hilarious if SK got the Rangers job in the summer.

  11. We've lost our last 6 games never looked like winning them. We taken 8 points from our last 12 league games. There are 12 games left. If we get the same return points wise that will give us 39 points at seasons end. That will put us in the play offs or take us down. Where these winnable games are I'd love to know. We've won two games out our last 12 and never looked like winning 9 of the other 10. I accept I'm more of a glass half empty type. Dear god I just don't see where this turn around is coming from. I think the similarities between us and the Hibs team that collapsed from January, after being 15 points clear of the play offs spot in January, until seasons end are uncanny. They kept saying they had winnable games and they never appeared. Id dearly love us to fluke any kind of win tomorrow but I just don't see anything other than a defeat because we have a poor squad.

  12. You could have the best referees and Var officials in the world, the best VAR technology available, but it would not change the fundamental problem with VAR, it ruining the game, forget all this " clear and Obvious error" nonsense they keep spouting, it's sole purpose is to actively seek out reasons to disallow goals, get players sent off etc, what's the point of having a referee on the pitch. I watched a game last week and there was a near 4 min delay to confirm a goal ffs, the enjoyment of celebrating a goal is being slowly taken away from the fans. It needs binned ASAP

  13. I feel we say this every season now, season on season in September we think we have a strong team, then by March we are desperate to get to end of season maintaining our league status and clearing out the diddies. My take on it, we either punt Daws and let MW and AK solely do the recruitment in summer this season using there knowledge of European football. Kettlewell was working with a very tight budget and in September I did think we have a decent squad but as season has progressed and injuries ramped up we have ended up with guys who evidently aren't good enough to play premier league football and because squad is so big we are also not seeing guys who have came to us as hot prospects (Dickson and Andrews to name but 2). Lewis Grabban instantly comes to mind when I think of they two....

  14. Good on him. Glad to see he's doing well

  15. All we need is for him to get enough shine on it to last till May, then we can get rid of the dross in the summer and he can rebuild the team in his own style.

  17. I said this a wee while back but my biggest fear isn't who the new manager would be, but the fact that what they have to work with just isn't good enough. Previously when a manager had been replaced mid season they have at least had a squad of a decent enough standard to play with, this time around we are asking Wimmer to polish a turd.

  18. Wimmer has said Kaleta back training today and Stama also trained the whole session. Hopefully quashes any daft rumours

  19. Around 21 players leaving at end of season which we need to replace with half that amount of better quality players in my opinion

  20. It'll take our new man a few weeks to find out the best team selection. SK had months and still couldn't figure it out. All I'm hoping for is to go into the split with a reasonable cushion over St Johnstone - 6/7 points would be fine. Obviously finishing 10th would be the icing on the cake and should be our target. It's not unreasonable to expect gradual improvements game after game
