I agree with Brazilian. The 'meaningless game' chat does my head in as well. Every football league in the world, professional or amatuer, will always have some 'meaningless' games to play at some point. Why would, or should, our professional league be any different?

Or on the other hand, guys like myself who have been out the picture this season completely and who have absolutely no interest in attending any OF games at Fir Park, might see it as a very attractive alternative. When you're PATG, it is far too easy find other ways to spend your weekend and cash. I'd tend to go for this option if it were available.

I had heard that at the start of last season as well, I posted on here at the time, but it was rebuffed as rumour / hearsay. What I was told was that McCall doesn't rate him and had told him back then that even when fully fit, he's not in his plans for the first team.

Don't know why, but for me, there is a great deal of difference between the Scottish Cup and the League Cup. I voted cup then on the basis of it being the Scottish. I'm a fussy bastard, yes.
