I think one lesson to be learned from McCall's email is that, at all times, never to believe everything you read in the national rags and to always expect an ulterior motive. It's east to say that normally, but as soon as some story like this one breaks, particularly involving our club, or in this case, someone from within, it's very easy to forget how the media in this country works and to go starting a witch hunt! I know I fell into that trap anyway. So for that, apologies to McCall for jumping the gun and fair play for writing that email, big thumbs up for that.

I totally agree. But why the fuck should it matter? And why the fuck are the powers that be deciding what should happen on the basis of whether or not there will be a TV deal and how much that TV deal is likely to be? It's a complete and utter fucking shambles. I very rarely attend Old Firm games now anyway due to the fucking shite that comes with it, but all along during this whole fucking fuck up, I was of the opinion I'd be still attending the games against the remainder of the teams in the SPL. But it's fucking comments like that - and "allegedly" from our own fucking manager - that makes me sway the way a number of posters on here are swaying and just walk away from it all and let them get on with it.

Honestly, who gives a fuck if there aren't any TV deals?! If you want to watch a game of football, then got to a fucking football stadium at 3.00pm on a fucking Saturday afternoon. It really should be that simple. Yes, TV revenue money will be lost, but it will be lost by all clubs, not just us so they'll be no different to us in that respect. We will all just need to cut our cloths accordingly. If our manager has came out and said that, in that context, then that for me is really, really fucking disappointing.

Not much else they could say, there's nothing to vote on at present and I'm assuming the member clubs know about as much as the fans do of the current situation and likelihood of either an existing or a "newco" Rangers even being in existence next season, let alone in which division or with what sanctions. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
