  1. I won't be looking at it at all. No Scottish clubs => not in the least bit interested
  2. I'll be there on Sunday as well, but afraid I can't afford to fly over from Ireland every weekend

  4. Yup. All they need to do is stop us scoring, after all... on the plus side, they don't seem to have a very good record of doing that in recent times. But tbh I'll be surprised (and delighted) if we manage to stop them from scoring as well.
  5. Doubt it... sorry for churning out an old cliché, but Thursday's game is pretty much our Europa League Final IMHO. If we make it through, there's zero pressure after that, because nobody will seriously be expecting us to qualify out of the group.
  6. Sounds like we're practising desperately defending a 1-0 lead for Thursday. Hope we do it more convincingly than this on Thursday.
  7. They do, but not today by the looks of it. They do have a twitter feed that's being updated today, but that's no better than watching the BBC live text commentary page, really...

  10. Goal, Blackman! Hint of offside by the sounds...
  11. Well, the first six months of it, maybe...
  12. And their UEFA record according to UEFA.com: Biggest win in UEFA competition: 26/06/2004, Ballymena 0-7 Odense, Ballymena Biggest defeat in UEFA competition: 02/10/1990, Real Madrid 6-0 Odense, Madrid Appearances in UEFA Champions League: 3 Appearances in UEFA Cup Winners' Cup: 2 Appearances in UEFA Europa League: 9 Appearances in UEFA Intertoto Cup: 6 Player with most UEFA appearances: 36 Steen Nedergaard ( DEN) Top scorers in UEFA club competitions: 9 Mwape Miti ( ZAM)
  13. Yep. They lost to Parma in the quarter finals in '95, beating Real Madrid in the previous round. Wikipedia
  14. This is certainly somewhat true. However, we were one of the first clubs in the UK to take the route we did, and that should have served as a significant warning to others about what could happen if they kept spending money they couldn't afford. The fact that we got through it, learned from our mistakes and continue to run a tight ship, while others have kept spending regardless and ended up in the same sort of trouble, does entitle JB to take a bit of the high ground from time to time IMHO. (And let's not forget, his ever-so-slightly-sanctimonious performance on SSN is hardly the first Cardiff City had heard about it... we've been quietly and presumably, I'd imagine, somewhat sympathetically chasing the money for months, but failing to get it. So fair play to him for stirring it up a bit if you ask me.)
  15. Was reading some of the Danish match reports (via Google Translate) and they seem to be saying we've decided not to make an official complaint: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...icle1394077.ece
  16. I can't really see us going out on away goals, tbh. If we do go out, my guess would be more likely a frustrating failure to score on the night (and possibly losing another one or two in the process while we're pressing).
  17. Only for the second leg, according to the Herald, although not quite sure how that can be the case...
  18. Actually, watching that again, Craigan didn't have as much of an opportunity to clatter the ball and/or Utaka into the stand at the second goal as I thought he'd had watching it yesterday. He was never really close enough, and would most likely just have got himself sent off if he'd stuck a foot in. Just a bit unlucky that none of the three guys who'd got themselves back on the line could do anything about it either.
