  1. It's possible to use a proxy server, but it's usually very hard to find a free UK proxy that works. If you're keen enough to pay £5, you could sign up to use the proxy at http://www.my-expat-network.co.uk, which I'm using to listen to the game now. You can cancel after one month.
  2. Sounds like a decent crowd on the radio... any estimates?
  3. And how much extra do you think it would it cost us to hire and police Hampden, compared to Fir Park?
  4. Nope. Why give them the advantage before we'd even kicked off?
  5. There's no such thing as a foregone conclusion when you're a Motherwell fan. Aalesund could turn up at the Firhill instead of Fir Park and we could still contrive to lose (Craigan (89), O.G.).
  6. Sadly it does, or companies wouldn't be daft enough to waste such vast amounts of money every year on advertising.
  7. Have you looked down behind the sofa?
  8. Had certainly heard of Anglian and Zoom, not Jaxx though. That said, your point is reasonable... most advertising isn't about making you think "oh, I must go and buy some new windaes". It's about increasing brand awareness, so that when the time comes that you *do* need that sort of service, that company will come to mind as an option, subconsciously or otherwise.
  9. And not just 'helping', but scoring in every round (if you count his pen in the shootout against Morton, anyway). Not many players anywhere have done that, I'd imagine.
  10. Hmm, will look into that when I can... just heading away for the weekend now and off to Holland on Sunday night, so might be a few days before I get a chance...
  11. So, about 18 months ago I wrote a little program that screen-scrapes the 'fishel site two or three times a day, and turns the results into an RSS and Atom feed of the news stories. (If you don't know what that means, you probably don't need to read any further...) With 'Flow's permission, I've decided to make the feeds public, for anyone who wants to try them: RSS Atom They both provide the same news, just depends which format your RSS reader is happier with. They're not perfect, in particular they don't add an accurate time stamp to the articles, but they should at least appear in the right order. Given the choice, I'd say the Atom feed is slightly less flaky. Note: Although they've been working fine for me, it's all totally experimental and depends entirely on the old laptop in my dining room being up and running (which it usually is 24/7, but occasionally it throws a wobbler). So either or both feeds could stop working properly at any time. Rumour has it the new website will have an official RSS feed anyway, so this is really just to whet your appetite until that's ready

    Game On Sunday?

FWIW, we're not travelling on Monday. The club's just announced the 'fly with the squad' charter, and it leaves on Wednesday morning.
  13. For that matter, neither would Scotland
  14. No need. I can just get the bus
  15. The Paint-Speckled Steps Stand.
  16. Not really. We paid because we're loaded anyway.
  17. Wooft, nearly 2-0 there.
  18. Half time. Icelanders not too pleased with the ref...
  19. Thought it might've been too, can't really tell from that angle though.
