Yup. When you're in the front line dealing with customers and you do (or don't do) something that causes them a problem, you just have to suck it up and accept with good grace that you got it wrong. Ranting back at the customer isn't a terribly professional response-- you're the one being paid to deal with that sort of thing, and the consequences of doing it wrong. The customer ain't.

Indeed. Hasn't been able to get a game for NI since 2006, and has scored only twice in 30 appearances since joining Doncaster on loan from Hull in 2008 (later signing for them, and having been loaned out again to Grimsby for a couple of months since he did so).

If it was, they obviously ignored it, as my recollection is that most people said "why should soldiers get special treatment" Giving out a limited number of season tickets, rather than just letting them all in free, seems like a reasonable compromise, though.

Slightly more practical would be sending team lineups, score updates, prize draw winning numbers etc. during the game to anyone with Bluetooth enabled on their phone... that'd be pretty cool.
