  1. But since we all know he's as lightweight as that, perhaps his teammates should've been making sure he wasn't having to act as our last line of defence.
  2. I wouldn't let anyone do that, to be fair.
  3. This is certainly true. The question is what does Robinson's team have to bounce back to, as it's been fairly mince all along.
  4. And as Erwin's club have just reported him and Anthony Stokes to FIFA for walking out on them, I'm guessing he's not happy.
  5. It is, though the keeper's messed up his angles too, should have had his far corner well covered from there. Perfect example of a good shot on target always having a chance, though.
  6. This is hardly news, I can't remember the last time we weren't looking to shift people out before we could afford to bring any in. Good to know he still considers "having to put more footballers in the team" to be a bad thing, though.
  7. Swiftly followed by a thread on here ridiculing their victim mentality, no doubt.
  8. " Those who can, do; those who can't, teach." --George Bernard Shaw "Those who can't do, teach." --Woody Allen etc.
  9. Whatever genuine gripes we have with him, I honestly don't believe Thomson or any other referee in Scotland is going to show a card just because a player tells him to. That's way beyond incompetence and into corruption territory.

    Our chance .

We'll see. Two (hopefully) successive wins and two (hopefully) clean sheets could work work wonders for our confidence... or it could just all fall apart again the next time we come up against a team who can string two passes together.
  11. He should've stopped the first one, but that said, it was a sweet hit and some better goalies than him would probably still have let it slip through in those conditions. It was exactly the right thing for us to be trying, and it paid off. Can't really fault him for the second, Cadds couldn't have placed it better.
  12. Looks like it's "Live audio for all subscribers" tonight.
  13. "Genuinely" being the operative word there... I suspect most of them probably don't, but I doubt we'll be hearing what they really think on MFC TV.
  14. If there's one thing to be said for the Americanised trick-or-treat version of Hallowe'en, it's that they skip the pishy jokes part. Open door, chuck sweets at child, close door.

    Who’s next?

Anyone with that sort of track record is generally a) employed, b) expensive, or c) both...
  16. Footballers rarely have anything interesting to say on a regular basis at the best of times, to be honest. Out of interest, what sort of things would you want our club captain to be saying?
  17. I'm not saying he shouldn't be the one who goes, that's the nature of the job. But his assistant, the players, the physios, the board, the agents of players who've left us or priced prospective signings out of our reach, and probably countless others, have all played a part in where we are today.
  18. Whatever our predicament, there's rarely just one person to blame.
  19. Craigan who regularly tells us his players aren't ready for the step up? Not sure that would solve much...
  20. Only if the vast majority could agree on the same manager, and the chances of that are zero.
  21. To save anyone buying a copy of the Sunday Mail to find out: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/motherwell-legend-colin-oneill-slams-13413954 (Much as he’s a club legend for obvious reasons, I’m not sure he’d be top of my list to seek out for a reasoned analysis of... pretty much anything, really.)
