  1. I've been having good luck with Windscribe, too... 10GB free per month, if you sign up for a free account (2GB if you don't, iirc), and iPlayer works fine.
  2. I can't remember any Old Firm manager that anyone other than Old Firm fans liked, at least while they were in the job. Partly because anyone associated with the Old Firm is naturally disliked due to their employer's influence on the Scottish game and those who run it and write about it, and partly because even previously-reasonable people who take the job are quickly assimilated into their reality distortion field and start talking whatever mince will keep their hordes happy.
  3. Seriously, just ignore him. Some managers like to say provocative things to get a reaction, and he's one of them. The more we talk about it, the more he'll do it.
  4. It was a penalty, but we'd have been moaning if it was given against us. Small amount of contact resulting in going down like an Olympic swimmer off the blocks. Rightly or wrongly, some refs wouldn't have given anything for it in the middle of the park, let alone in the box.
  5. Referees are "instructed" to stop play for a red card, but I suppose they don't technically have to. (Which isn't to say I think Thompson was playing advantage -- he clearly wasn't.)
  6. He'll learn. I hope. (Though I seem to have said that a few times now.)
  7. I wouldn't put too much weight on the fact that he indicated a "stamp", unfortunately... he'll probably just explain that away as just meaning "you lashed out with your foot". He saw they were both lying on the ground after the tackle, so even if he was just guessing, surely even he must've realised Kipré couldn't have actually "stamped" on anyone from that position.
  8. None of the esteemed pundits on Sportscene thought it was a penalty. Make of that what you will...
  9. There's hee-haw chance we'd win. Would rather keep the money.
  10. Just happened this week in training. From the BBC:
  11. I love watching highlights that last more than two minutes. Nice to see Ally Mauchlen turning out for Killie a year or so before we signed him, too...
  12. Pretty much the best thing about football is that teams regularly beat other teams that they "shouldn't".

  14. And yet, fans of most of most other teams moan about him too. He can't be bending over backwards to not appear biased to all of them.
  15. Of course, we can help stamp it out by refusing to call them that; Hampden has North, South, East and West stands so that's the only way we should refer to them. (And to be fair, I'm not sure I've heard anyone from the SFA refer to the "Rangers" or "Celtic" ends in many a year, though of course they clearly do stick to that tradition when allocating tickets.)
  16. Mibbe, and I can see why because the initial full speed view from the POD camera looked bad. The replays from two different angles really didn't, though.
  17. I only saw it on TV, but he hardly touched him... looked a lot worse than it was.

  19. It was definitely on the ball, and the ball appeared to be briefly stationary. I'm still dubious that you can ever have the ball under your control with one hand unless you're Pat Jennings, though.
  20. Keeper had one hand on it when Cadden kicked it, referee deemed keeper had ball under his control. Debatable.
