  1. I'd have no problem with it being on an unsupported basis (at least for the first few times until they iron out any problems), i.e. if it works it works; if it doesn't and we miss half of it, then too bad but at least they made an effort. No need to have a helpdesk running at the same time Given all the options available for streaming and videoconferencing these days, mind you, I wouldn't have thought Periscope, presumably using somebody's phone, was necessarily one of the better ones. (Chances of them streaming the whole thing in portrait mode...?)
  2. Pretty much this. The team as a whole have gone down as legends and we'll remember all of them, maybe Maxwell more than any of them, all as long as we have our faculties. Maybe the club could have dealt with Ally a bit better at the time, maybe it couldn't, but I don't think any one of them deserves any more or less recognition than any of the others 25 years on.
  3. Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but wasn't he only at the club for 8 years (if you don't count being in the FP Boys Club, which I didn't think you usually did for testimonial purposes)? Either way, from what I hear about his dad from my dad, I suspect it's probably him who wants the testimonial more than Ally does!
  4. Just posting the minutes of the AGM afterwards would be a start. Even our local residents association can manage that every year.

    Mark McGhee

Pretty much what I just said to the guys here at work (in Dublin)...
  6. One wee thing I remember is walking back to the car and realising we'd qualified for Europe. That possibility had never even crossed my mind up to then.

    Bob Mc Hugh

Nope. He's had a good few weeks, but he's still hardly prolific.
  8. Disappointed that St Johnstone (both last night and at the weekend) have rendered 4th place impossible and Saturday's game meaningless, but hard not to be pleased with finishing 5th after the 18 months we'd had up to December. Now to see what next season brings...
  9. With nothing to play for, could see this finishing 0-0, or 2-2 ... if the latter, would be nice to see Louis get them both to hit 20.
  10. Having watched it again this morning, I have to say I still don't think the free kick we opened the scoring from was even a free kick, let alone a booking. Mind you, the one Hearts scored from didn't look like one either, so swings and roundabouts I suppose.
  11. Highlights now up on Youtube... although most of our goals (especially the 4th) looked better from the other side of the pitch, so hopefully you all remembered to record it on Alba too
  12. More than that in fact: 2769.
  13. It was, but only for the first year of your membership (and possibly only at Claret level and above, can't remember now).
  14. Haven't seen enough of the other goalies to really compare, but to be honest from what I've seen of Ripley this year he's progressed from shaky to competent-with-potential, and not much more than that.
  15. Wouldn't be surprised to see it return as a Well Society member perk next season... which probably wouldn't be a bad way of attracting a few new members, either.
  16. Club(s) have been told they're not allowed to post match highlights on non-paywalled channels any more. (I was always surprised they were allowed to anyway, tbh...)
  17. Pretty sure my first game was "that" St Mirren cup game in February 1977. Remember nothing about being there other than being sat in the main stand, though.
  18. To be fair, we didn't then either, except when we let in thousands of school kids for free.
  19. Stephen Robinson signs 1yr extension. https://twitter.com/MotherwellFC/status/720931616546283522
  20. We did, but iirc we'd also voted in favour of that change so we couldn't really complain.
  21. Definite penalty, and totally unnecessary from Gomis... Johnson was just about to clear it.
  22. It's been poor, but wouldn't be the first time we've turned it around against Celtic after a poor first half. Could do with Skippy focusing on the game rather than moaning about everything, though.
  23. This. If we miss out on top six at this stage it'll only be because we failed to take any points from the (likely) league champions, after an unexpected run of victories. Annoying of course, but it'll hardly be a case of having thrown it away.
  24. They certainly did. Though I suspect they may also have worn it since.
