  1. Gary Mac was certainly one of the best young players that I can remember watching at Fir Park (although I was only 14 myself when he left)... will never forget his goal in the '85 Scottish Cup Semi at Hampden Certainly showed as much potential as the likes of McClair, Faddy and Uncle Phil did for us at that sort of age. If you need a laugh, this short bio is well worth a read
  2. Sounds like we're doing to Dunfermline exactly what Rangers did to us last week... albeit Dunfermline having rather less possession than we had.
  3. Half time. More of the same in the second please!
  4. Rather taken our foot off the gas towards the end of the first half.
  5. 2-0 Motherwell, Murphy with a deflected shot!
  6. Hateley hits the post with a free kick...
  7. Andy Russell would never have allowed those sorts of shenanigans on his grass...
  8. Don't see why not -- I'd guess most folk are more interested in match footage than any of the other content that's likely to be on there, and especially if there's going to be any sort of subscription fee involved for any or all of the content, the sooner they can start bringing money into the club the better.
  9. Being able to navigate straight to the goals with the links underneath is certainly a nice touch. Hope MFC TV are taking note
  10. "1947: We're off at McDiarmid Park and Broadwood. Motherwell fans abandoning their cars and running to the ground, apparently..."
  11. "1946: Lots of texts about traffic chaos near Broadwood. The teams are out on the pitch, so no delay to kick off."
  12. Hibs: 1985–1987, 23 goals in 70 appearances. Motherwell: 1987-1990, 11 goals in 51 appearances. Portadown: 1990-1993, 59 goals in 79 appearances!
  13. It wasn't. ESPN showed about three different angles, and it never touched his arm.
  14. Can't agree with much of that to be honest... didn't see anything that resembled a penalty for us, three-nil didn't flatter them at all because they looked far more likely to score than we did every time they went forward, and I lost count of the number of even our tippy tappy passes that were intercepted or otherwise poor. Bring on Clyde!

    David Kelly

All his career stats here courtesy of Wikipedia. Certainly a very decent player in his day, with an impressive 35 goals in 70 games for Newcastle Utd, and 9 international goals from his 26 caps.
  16. I'd be delighted with 0-0... another point and another clean sheet.
  17. Hateley 1-0 in injury time!
  18. However, stadia like that are inevitably called something like (as this one is) "The American Express Community Stadium", and I'll be buggered if I want to go and watch us play in something called that
  19. Or perhaps he was just that good before he went, but the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea weren't willing to take a look at him until he'd proved himself somewhere closer to their own level than Accies...
  20. You can download the .ics file from that page and import it to calendar.google.com, which is certainly one way to get it onto your Android phone (assuming you have your Android calendar set up to sync with your Google calendar). You'll miss out on any automatic updates that you'd get by being able to subscribe to it, though, so you'd need to keep doing this manually now and again to keep it up to date. Wonder how long it'll take the SPL/SFL to assert their copyright on the fixture lists and take it down
