  1. No relation, apparently... (see replies #1 and #10 here).
  2. That's my recollection too, seem to remember Jock Brown saying in the Final commentary that "it may well be his last game for Motherwell", or words to that effect.
  3. Turns out it was Jenno himself who put the ball in the net (and was offside).
  4. Tsk, commentary's switched to Hearts game now.
  5. From what I could make of the commentators ramblings, Suttion I think, but it was Jenno who was offside.
  6. Ball's in the net for 'Well, but it's chopped off for offside.
  7. D'oh, forgot we were even playing tonight until I got the goal alert on my phone there
  8. Aye, we should have dropped that turncoat Tom Boyd for the '91 Final, too.

  10. Footballers don't always have to "step up" when they move. Some folk just need a change of scenery now and again to keep them motivated. Would be an odd choice if he had better offers on the table of course, but there are worse places to play your football than Tannadice.
  11. Not that I like the man, but it seems pretty accurate to me.
  12. "Yet again"? We haven't reach enough cup finals for *any* outcome to be described as "yet again".
  13. Which is fine, because they've had easier games.
  14. 1-0 Utd. Daly. Bit of an error by Randolph, by the sound of it.
  15. Couple of half-chances for us in the last five minutes, at least.
  16. The game links only appear if you're in the UK (or using a UK proxy).

Cheek or not, if my lawyer thought I was due £25k off somebody, I'd be giving it a go too.
  18. Yup: http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2011/05/05/cup-final-ticket-update/
  19. To be honest, in an ideal world, us being nice to them shouldn't influence them either way. They're *supposed* to be journalists who report facts for a living...
  20. Ach, let's not get too carried away here. 125 years isn't really *that* significant a number, in the "big anniversary numbers" scheme of things. If it was our 100th or 150th anniversary, I'd be a bit more miffed that we didn't have a special strip for the year. But 125? Meh. I'd much rather our strip just said "Scottish Cup Winners 2010/11" on it sometime soon
