    Casagolda

Call me old-fashioned, but instead of worrying too much about bringing another striker into the club, perhaps our coaching staff could pull their fingers out and teach the ones we have to do a better job of scoring goals?
  2. Could indeed, although given that he seems to have left Newcastle Jets because they couldn't agree new terms, you'd have to wonder what sort of wages he'd be looking for.
  3. Yep, was mentioned during the BBC commentary on Sunday
  4. Killie open us up, ball's in the net but disallowed for offside...
  5. Hateley drops out for Jones, too. 1930: KILMARNOCK TEAM NEWS: Bell, Clancy, Sissoko, Wright, Hay, Kelly, Pascali, Eremenko, Aubameyang, Taouil, Rui Miguel. Subs: Jaakkola, Fowler, Silva, Berntsson, Agard, McKay, Gros. 1929: MOTHERWELL TEAM TO FACE KILMARNOCK: Randolph, Saunders, Hutchinson, Craigan, Hammell, Jennings, Lasley, Jones, Humphrey, Murphy, Casagolda. Subs: Hollis, Hateley, Sutton, Page, Gunning, Pollock, Smith.
  6. How does the fact that Juke, Ruddy and Coke are now gone make them any less of a good find? No, Gannon wasn't the first manager to get us a couple of good players. But he was the first for a long time who brought in so many players of a reasonable or high standard as soon as they were needed and in exactly the positions he had identified as being an issue.

  8. Indeed. Football could do with a lot more Jim Gannons kicking some primadonna arses.

Some flattering words in today's Herald report.

Disagree. It was almost the perfect header from that position (although back across the keeper would arguably have been better) -- hard, downwards and on target, and the ball had already made it most of the way through Alexander's legs before it came off his back foot and away. If Saunders did exactly the same another 10 times from that position I'd bet at least five of them would go in. Murphy should certainly have done better, although as the replay shows he ended up having to dig it out from between his feet slightly -- came right at him rather than sitting up nicely in front of him.

The BBC stats say otherwise... we did have more shots on target though! Possession Rangers 54% Motherwell 46% Attempts on target Rangers 5 Motherwell 7 Attempts off target Rangers 7 Motherwell 3 Corners Rangers 5 Motherwell 5 Fouls Rangers 8 Motherwell 10

+3 mins starting now. Murphy hits decent chance right at the keeper.

Jammy save keeps out a great Saunders header -- think that was probably our chance.

Good effort from Jennings there... first shot on target of the second half.

Half-hearted shout for a penalty there... Weir with his arms round Sutton's neck.

Still playing some nice stuff up to the final third, looking our usual toothless selves when we get near the goal though.

Bit of a facepalm moment from Craigan there... luckily McCulloch couldn't finish it.

Sorry, numpty is able to watch BBC Scotland on his actual telly so he doesn't need a stream today
