No substitute for the extra faces we need at the moment, but good to see we're still trying to tie up first team players on longer contracts too (even though he's not everybody's cup of tea).

So you're asking for a bit of balance by showing us how demonstrably bad his early record is compared to that of our last two managers?

So all of our penalties have been given away by two central defenders. Is that really such a surprising statistic? Who gives away the most penalties in other teams?

Was hardly the worst of the pitches on display this weekend. The test will be how it recovers having been played on in that condition.

If they're doing all that on the same TV and sponsorship money that we are, then by all means take a look at them. Otherwise, we need to find our own way.

They haven't noticeably increased in Ireland since they switched over here.

Personally, I prefer legibility over slavish adherence to colours that were designed to go on a fitba' strip, not on a website. (It doesn't look purple to me anyway, which is probably another part of the problem -- the same colour can look very different on different monitors, unless they're all calibrated.)

In my view, nobody "stole" anyone. Much as we can feel aggrieved about the process that got them there, stealing implies taking someone against their will, and Broon, Knox and Blackman all seem to have been willing participants.
