ccording to what I can see , the game is now on ESPN tonight ...now that the Rangers game is off . Maybe someone from the club could confirm ??

He came back onto the park at the final whistle ...he had a flip flop on his left foot and could hardly put any weight on it at all ...looks like he could be out for a few weeks based on that . Those 2 hard games have taken there toll on the squad with Lasley , Murphy and Jennings all struggling now .

We were interested in him when he was at Airdrie ..saw quite a bit of him then as my mate played with them at the same time . He had a great partnership with Coyle and Willie McLaren at that time and will do us a turn if he plays anywhere near that sort of form and notch a few goals to boot . I imagine that he will be used in the position that Sutton has been playing under CB ...left hand side of midfield , going forward ....I guess the midfield would be Humph wide right , Jenno and Las in the middle and Gowser on the left ...not a bad balance there ... Anyway , good luck to guy ...

Cannot for the life of me see why anyone would want to build a team around Forbes ...the guy has done well enough in the early part of the season when he was a surprise to most ..but bottom line is that he no pace , cannot tackle and is knackered 60 minutes into any game ...he has a good left peg and shot , but all the teams now know to shut that down when he gets a game..

the only moves that Jack and Victor will be doing is going to the post office for their pensions...

Thought the Scotland job would have suited him down to the ground .. I would have him here as well , but the nagging doubt about how the players hated him at Hibs has too many similarities to this debacle we have here ..

Obviously a lot of people as its been all over the radio and no doubt the papers tomorrow ..maybe you dont care about the coverage the club gets ..but 99% of fans do.

Honestly , Motherwell "fans" never cease to amaze me ..to hurl the abuse that went on today at a guy who did wonders for the club under the circumstances he was left with , is just downright sick . What the hell do people expect from managers ..the guy stayed for 2 years, when he could have left after the 1st year ..got us into Europe 2 years in a trot , playing some great football at times , and thats the thanks he gets ..makes you ashamed to be part of this club at times ..really does . All I can say to the small minority today is ..get a life . Makes you embarrassed when you hear the likes of the Kop at Liverpool who always give a great reception to former players , managers etc when they return ..but then again this is Motherwell !! God knows what John Boyle though about it having to sit down with him for a meal tonight ..

Just had an interesting conversation with a guy who came into the shop this morning ...he is a Dundee supporter and was at their game yesterday in the CIS cup . He asked me what Hammell was like as a player ?? I asked him why he was asking that ..his reply was .."he was told at the game , we are buying him , as he is surplus to requirements at Motherwell " ... interesting stuff ..

According to the paper this morning the team picked by Gannon is ... Fraser O'Brien Hutchison Craigan Reynolds Humphrey Jennings Slane Forbes Murphy Sutton O'Brien plays at right back , Reynolds left back ...Hammell and Saunders have been dropped.

It is very rare that we sell out our allocation for these games now . The tickets normally cost around £25 for Celtic or Rangers games , so you can work out the exchange rate nearer the time .
