No idea on who was arrested or charged after what happened in St Andrews Square.
What I can say as factual when I was leaving Easter Road about 5-45 a group of >100 Hibs Ultras all dressed in black with face masks were surrounded by police and being escorted up Easter Road. Can’t say for certain if this had anything to do with the disturbance but it would not surprise me if they were.
If we’re going to play 3-5-2 you need the 2 wingbacks to supply the width and delivery into the box.
SODs and Wilson are steady but neither supply this option which means the supply to the front 2 is limited.
Hindsight is great after the event but dropping SODs back into Mcginn’s position would IMO been a better balance to the team.
Davor couldn’t pass water and it was obvious against Hibs that the midfield was much better balanced when he was replaced Think it should be either him or Halliday but not both. Miller had possibly his worst game of the season but the boy played the full 90mins in both the U21 with a fair bit of travelling thrown in.
Are all other clubs banning fans in this manner.
Not so sure that they are.
The crux of the problem at Fir Park IMO is the relationship between Bob Park ( ex Police Scotland ) and the match day commander at Fir Park !!!!!
You’ve hit the nut on the head.
Do other clubs our size St Mirren, St Johnstone, Killie, Ross County have similar problems with banning fans in this way ????
Bob Park has far to much power within our club and it is time his power is curtailed and he is made to account for his actions
If all this is being sanctioned by the board then our club has a serious problem
Bob Park still thinks he is employed by Police Scotland and acts like it.
He needs reminded that he is employed by Motherwell FC and should be accountable for his actions
St Mirren played a blinder with regards to the Old Love Street. Played Tesco of against Morrisons !!!!
Morrisons was desperate to get a site in Paisley and Tesco desperate to keep them out. Tesco won the battle a paid over the odds for Love Street. There is still nothing been built on the site. Not sure if Tesco still own the site.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong
The 3 WS board members who voted for this deal were the 3 WS members on the executive board
I assume that the executive board has a financial director who advises them.
Maybe they were guided by his presentation of the club’s financial position.
Could be totally wrong and we’re just a Mickey Mouse outfit and don’t have a financial director.
Your right they’ve put forward their proposals /arguments and deserve the chance to put them into place
It’s one thing putting them down on a bit of paper and a completely different proposition delivering them.
I wish them all the luck in the world … … future of the club may well depend on that happening.
