Just watched the SPL Classic match on the BBC site. 2-2 v Rangers in 2001. Now, I was at this game, I was 21 at the time so not a kid where all memory of the team has been lost in the mists of time. It must have been at the time when Eric Black was the manager, McFadden was in the team, Brown in goals, Delemeaux at the back, I can remember pretty much every player in the squad. But David Kelly? Who the fuck is this? I genuinely cannot remember this name ever appearing in connection with Motherwell. Have I cracked up? Is this some sort of elaborate hoax being played on me by the BBC to make me believe that my mind has snapped? I think I need a lie down.

We were really quite rubbish today. I hugged my dad when that ripped in though so, not a bad day. First time for a couple of years. He's a legend.

I was possibly considering going as I have always seemed to miss games at Cappielow for some reason. More excited about going on the M74 extension then the actual game mind, which will probably be rotten.

I'll go to the Leeds game but it will be boring as fuck. I'm really looking forward to the Dumbarton game mind, as tragic as that is. Never been to Dumbarton before. I hear the streets are paved with gold.

I suspected that we would get a right doing today. I found the optimism among some people a bit baffling and thought it would be a tremendous result if we somehow grabbed a draw. The fact that players don't want to get injured at this point in the season was the major contributing factor I thought, both Lasley and Jennings didn't snap into the challenges like they usually would have, meaning that, in the second half particularly, we were totally dominated in the midfield. I do agree that Jones had a bit of a shocker today but so did most of the team. Probably shouldn't have been quite as angry at the end as it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of this season, it's just that most of my mates support 'them' and I'm starting to run out of energy having to listen to their pish.

I've got a season ticket but I'll probably just get my dad to get my ticket with his. That means I can probably get four for someone. There really is no need to panic but I do agree with some folk on here, we should have half of the tickets allocated. And my mrs asked if she could come. I swiftly told her to get herself to fuck.
