  1. All 3 of the above have serious money men behind them. If you believe the rumours some of the Darvel guys are reputed to be on upwards of £250 a week, 5 years ago they were in the bottom league of the old Juniors and didn't pay their players. A wee peek into the WOSL forum in P&B is very enlightening.
  2. Having watched a lot of Lowland League football I would say that would easily be their current level but I think they would probably do OK in the 2nd division. Another Gretna in the making perhaps with the amount of cash thats being pumped into them by Mr Killie Pie.
  3. And their manager does a good piri piri chicken. Must be some hospitality buffet.
  4. tbh I'm not in the slightest bit surprised at the result, even put a speculative tenner on them last week at 45/1 I watch quite a bit of the WOSL when the 'Well arent playing and have seen Darvel 4 times this season. Packed full of players with senior experience and they're no mugs. It could quite easily have been us. Even better one of their coaches is a diehard 'Well fan.
  5. Capacity at Linlithgow 2264 so 500 to us maybe.
  6. Blaney for me. Did well against a 6'4" battering ram.
  7. Christ we've just won our first game in months, progressed in the Scottish and we're moaning about a strip. SO at its very best.
  8. Nearly 2000 sold so plenty don't share that view including me. Great wee place for an away day as long as the wind keeps calm. 12 pubs within 10mins of the ground so get there early. COYW
  9. It's the moisture in the rubber infill that freezes and Livi has so much of it that it ends up solid. Usually doesnt happen until about -7/8° or a really prolonged bout of cold weather right enough.
  10. Dean isn't exactly a wet behind the ears straight out of the Academy experiment. He's been around the first team long enough to know what's required of him and for us to know what he's capable of. He gives us a bit of energy on the field that some of our other midfielders lack. It's up to Stevie to decide whether he nurtures that.
  11. When you consider his answer to "what's your favourite hobby away from football" in the quickfire questions section in yesterdays programme was "seeing family and friends" then I think we can take it as read that he's away home.
  12. The general consensus on the Stockport fan forums seem to be that they're sorry to see him go and that he is a bit of a baller. Time will tell I suppose.
  13. Alternatively Flow could just buy the Sun and see who Killie St Mirren and St Johnstone are linked with and join the queue for their signature.
  14. Wonder what kind of injury he's carrying.
  15. Should it even have been a penalty?. Guy fires it at 90mph from 2 yards away straight at Lamie. How the feck is he supposed to get out of the way.
  16. IMO You can only go with players you've actually seen play in the flesh so for me it's got to be El Grew.
  17. We all know how Livi will set up and that it will be a battle especiallly in midfield. We really need our guys to step up to the plate and show some bottle.
  18. There's as much chance of the Scottish Govt pumping money into football development as me winning the lottery.
  19. If the rumours are true, he's on a play and pay basis so costing us nought.
  20. If it helps us to cement a top six finish it's money well spent. Over to Grizzly!!!!
  21. Sorry I told that story now lol.
  22. Remember that game. Having a piss over the harbour wall that the wind blew back right over my head and some smart Alex who thought it would be a good idea to bring home a couple of stinking kippers on the bus. Was a bit of bother with the locals as well if I remember correctly.
