  1. Can I make my mind up on that at 4.59pm tomorrow.
  2. Think you're right on that but regardless, I just find the timing of it all a bit strange. Maybe nothing in it other than the press getting hold of the story via the players agent or something like that. Have the 2 clubs mentioned anything officially?
  3. Heard he told GA his tactics were shite (or words to that effect)
  4. Agree, you just need to look at the players faces during a game when they're looking over at the dugout, thinking "whit the fuck are ye daein".
  5. Just for once I'd like us to start a game full thunder and try to get the first goal and put pressure on the opposition to open up a bit and make the game at least mildly entertaining for the fans.
  6. The papers are waxing lyrical about how competitive the League is outside the Old Firm whereas I look at it as "fear football" with teams set up not to lose rather than try to win games which is not conducive to silky football. Yes it's competitive with no meaningless games but by Christ it's mind numbingly boring and looks like continuing in that vein for the foreseeable future.
  7. I kinda left the game thinking at least we got a point which isn't really what you want to be saying to yourself after a home game against Dundee. If we had won I probably wouldn't even be thinking about the game. BUT I've been watching Motherwell for 50 odd years now and I can't remember ever looking for excuses not to go to a game but the current tactics are severely testing my resolve (and my neck muscles). Don't think it's just a Motherwell thing tbh as most teams are serving up the same kind of dross in their own style but the standard of football in general in the SPL is absolutely dire at the moment.
  8. It's in the teams own hands. 2 winnable games at home with the crowd and a decent result behind them. Confidence must be high in the dressing room. They won't have a better chance to get a top six finish so time to show us what they're made of. COYW
  9. Considering it had been pissing down most of the week and the groundstaff would have been mostly keeping off the surface to protect it and most likely weren't able to use the usual maintenance machinery, I thought it was in great condition given it had just passed a 10am inspection.
  10. He at least looks interested and wants to take a man on and have a shot at goal even if it doesn't always come off.
  11. If you look on other teams forums, notably Hibs and Aberdeen most recently but every other team outside the old firm at some point this season, they're all pretty much having the same issues and discussions that we're talking about so it's just not us. This is the poorest quality of League I can remember for a long while
  12. Shuggie Shuggie Swing on the bar. Happy days
  13. 6'4". Hard as f**k That'll do for me
  14. Heard we're looking at someone from exactly that place called Andy Zoff A real speed merchant apparently who can play across the front 3
  15. Think we're missing big Bevis's height at the back as well. Big centre winning a lot of balls.
  16. Well your view must have been different from mine but at the end of the day I think we can agree that we have an element in our support we would be better off without especially at away games.
  17. Spot on Was sitting in the front row at the time when it whizzed past my left ear.
  18. A 400 mile round trip ending in disappointment. Will give the team the benefit of the doubt and put it down to a bit of ring rustiness but I hope 50 yard diagonal punts to Woolery is not going to be a regular feature. Apparently 180 seats destroyed by Celtic fans was the reason we weren't in our normal spot behind the goals.
  19. Totally agree. Haven't seen a player yet with a poor first touch that's gone on to develop one. That's the 4th time I've seen him this season and sorry, not a player I would spend transfer money on. If we got him on a PCA and squad wages(assuming we were still interested) then fine but otherwise nah.
  20. All sorted. Travelodge still doing rooms fir £24.99 if anyone's interested.
  21. Brilliant news but a bit unexpected if I'm honest as I didn't think common sense would have prevailed. Don't need to cancel my trip now. See youse in Dingwall.
  22. Aye I know it's a bit of a shot in the dark. Conflicting information everywhere you look doesn't help
  23. I'm sure he won some poll last year about being the most boring person in Britain. Anyways cannae wait till tomorrow to see if I need to cancel my hotel booking in Inverness next Tuesday.
  24. I'll pass on that thanks all the same.
  25. Thanks Al B. You've spoken more sense on here in a day than Leitch has in 2 years.
