  1. 100% This is why I tend to avoid on here in the close season. Every year it's the same, the players we sign are shite/not good enough/never heard of them. If we went out and signed Messi some folk would still find something about him to moan about.

    AndyP

A genuinely nice guy who always had time to chat about his beloved Motherwell. A sore loss for everyone who knew him.
  3. If we can't start rumours about players might as well start one about the Manager
  4. The problem is there's no solid Premiership players left. They've all signed for St Mirren.
  5. The way I look at it is despite the baggage the guy is undoubtably a very good player and you can never have enough of them in your team. Don't think it'll happen though that's assuming there's any truth in the story.
  6. Enjoyable watch that and a good insight and has certainly given me a greater appreciation of things from a players point of view I think fans have underestimated the effect the lockdown has had on the players and their ability to raise their game with no fans.
  7. Can only imagine he was one of the players invited back for pre season and St Mirren have jumped in and offered him a contract.
  8. And never miss a penalty, be able to go in goals if required, command his box and come for every high ball
  9. A few years experience under his belt since those days. Currently their club captain as well so must have something still in his locker. Time will tell I suppose.
  10. Rumours we're after Ben Henegan at Wimbledon Anyone else heard anything?
  11. There's about 1500 pages about it in the old Junior Football forum if you have a spare week or two to go through it.
  12. I also think that offering a 3 year deal gives any player choosing between us and the rest of the teams who might also interested in him but offering a shorter deal on much the same money a bit more security and hopefully be more inclined to sign for us. Might even help to attract a better level of player as well.
  13. Maybe part of our new recruitment model?.
  14. Got just about everything in his locker, fast, direct, good with the ball at his feet, good out wide or more central. Can score and assist. Not too sure about his attitude if things aren't going right though although there wasn't a massive problem with this at Palmerston. He did tail off a bit near the end of the season. As others have said, would be happy to see him back on loan sometime. Asked some of the QOS boys over on P&B about him and this was a typical response
  15. Can only go with the games I saw him in and he looked quite good but obviously not the same as watching him all season. Big, strong and kicks fuck out of anyone who comes near him.
  16. I'd take a gamble on Moult before Lafferty.
  17. More than just a proposal Been agreed by a majority of the LL clubs and just to be ratified at their AGM
  18. How the fuck was that no a foul on Cole
  19. Need to get the crosses cut out here boys

    Big Dec

All I'll say is that someone I know inside the club described GA as "an iron fist in a velvet glove", so take out of that what you will.
  21. You're right, the chances of either of them getting beat in the playoffs are virtually nil so doesn't really matter which one ends up there. We win and we're a minimum of 65k richer so that's what we do.
  22. In in a bit of dilemma on this one. Love the away day at Dingwall but they bring next to heehaw in terms of support Chance to potentially get rid of another shite plastic pitch but Killie usually bring a good support Decisions decisions
  23. Kelly with the best ball into the box all game
