  1. Of course he is. The collage will still be there long after he's moved on to better things than Celtic which seems to be the thing that's causing most ire.
  2. No surprises there. He's inevitably going to end up at Aberdeen Dundee Utd or Hearts if he stays in Scotland, all depends which one stumps up the most money. Still think he could do a job down south but perhaps lacks the pace needed down there and probably doesn't want to move his young family anyway.
  3. He's been around the League's down south long enough to know what players might be available and who would be a good fit for us. I have every confidence he will know who we need but whether the funds are there to secure them is another matter
  4. Having Watt back gives us another dimension to our game as he proved yesterday. Do we start cautiously or go for it. Mark Lafferty out the game and cut off his supply line from the wings and we're halfway there. Would also like to see young Cornelius and Johnston getting some game time or is winning more important to us in the chase for 7th place than giving youngsters a run out
  5. I'm glad I only looked in here at full time
  6. It's not just a Motherwell thing. You could take those bits of the post and copy and and paste it into any other clubs fan forums (with the possible exception of Rangers) because that's exactly what every other teams fans are saying about theirs. Think we can all agree its been a hard watch but I'm just going to pretend it didn't happen and look forward to all the usual speculation over new signings for next season.
  7. At the end of the day his remit was to keep us up and he's done that albeit with some eye bleeding football and some strange substitutions. Tonight's game was dire but know what I couldn't really give a shit, we beat them and that's all that really matters. Can't wait for next season.
  8. That's the formation and line up I was hoping for.
  9. That was the best time ever. Guys mostly playing for the love of the game and no fancy 4 3 1 2 or 3 5 2 just go out and play.
  10. The Midden going up to Dingwall with 14 fit players (apparently). Hopefully that number drops after the game.
  11. Alternatively we might go out and sign 4 who will make us forget all about them. We've rebuilt teams in the past and will no doubt do it in the future.

    Big Dec

You could say the same about a number of our players. I'm more interested in finding out why that's the case. A series of small squalls resulting in a perfect storm?
  13. Don't understand the perseverence with 433 as GA has favoured 442 in all his previous gigs.
  14. Accies really need to win this one so in normal circumstances they might have been tempted to play with another attacker and sacrifice a midfielder which might make our 4 3 3 work better(or at all) but their fans are saying that they've got a horrendous injury list and have been playing with 7 defenders recently so if that's the case I would be preparing for another shitfest
  15. Was scared to say that myself One who gets pass marks for me.
  16. Game plan has worked well for Morton and our lack of quality cant do anything about it
  17. I'm with you on that Brother. Remember being ambushed at Chapelhall one year when the buses were on strike and we had to walk it there and back from Motherwell. The young guns don't know what they've missed.
  18. Hope someone has emailed a copy of the video to the Compliance Officer (if it's not too late that is).
  19. I think if GA reverts to his favoured 4 4 2 next season we'll see the best of him. He must have had other clubs sniffing about so I see it as being a bit of a coup for us to retain a Scottish International player.
  20. Agreed and while I'm no lover of the Monarchy the way I look at it is that the whole of the UK's sporting community is showing a bit of respect for the old guy by reorganising events I don't really want to be the only part that doesn't as the fallout in the national media would not show us in a good light.
  21. That's life in the SPL especially when you fill the team with guys from down south who will mostly always just look at Scotland as a short term gig. There will be the odd exception of course. Only good thing is all teams will be in the same position. That's why we need a successful Academy but who knows what the future holds in that direction
  22. That's the split of prize money for this season so finishing 7th instead of 9th nets us an extra 125k. Not to be sneezed at. 1st - 13.40% - £3,350,000 2nd - 9.60% - £2,400,000 3rd - 8.25% - £2,062,500 4th - 7.25% - £1,812,500 5th - 6.75% - £1,687,500 6th - 6.25% - £1,562,500 7th - 5.75% - £1,437,500 8th - 5.50% - £1,375,000 9th - 5.25% - £1,312,500 10th -5.00% - £1,250,000 11th - 4.75% - £1,187,500 12th - 4.50% - £1,125,000
  23. Getting shot of 2 shite plastic pitches as well would be icing on the cake
