No real surprise on the Donnelly rumours. Pretty sure O'Neill will be looking at every NI player he knows with a bit of a pedigree and playing at a decent level
-
I knew my avatar would make a comeback sometime
-
Or maybe Tait was offered a deal that he rejected?
-
Rangers found that out the hard way
-
Would Mark O’Hara not be subject to a transfer fee if we sign him?
-
We should invite them over for the 1st game of the season whenever that is

So you can ask for yer money back but if you do we’re fucked .

He is big on loyalty and if it was another club sniffing about I think he would almost certainly elect to stay with us but the chance to manage your country might only come along once in a lifetime so he will be tempted. However, I think that he will go on to be successful managing at a bigger club and will undoubtably get the chance again when he has a bit more experience under his belt which might make him even more successful than if he took the job now

At the end of the day you either trust that the board know what they’re doing in a financial sense that won’t leave us at a monetary disadvantage over other clubs or you don’t. Going by their track record over the last few months and the calibre/financial expertise and experience of the people making the decisions I’m inclined to believe the former. They could keep us a bit better informed right enough.

Definitely looks like some kind of excavation going on in the RHS of the park and what looks like a roadway of some kind running behind the goals Ive got more programmes from around the same era so will have a look to see if there’s any more info or pictures. Think it was 1993 ? the stand was opened so unlikely to be foundation work.

Can’t remember for definite but that picture was on the front of a programme v Hamilton Accies on Wed 2nd January 1985. Maybe I’m wrongly assuming the big mound of earth at the back is the start of building works as the toilet block that used to sit at the top of the hill is gone. Anyways brings back memories of the old terracing.

Its ok guys theyre going to be dishing out these to everyone going into the ground. Available in claret and amber or red and white
-
Pigs might also have a better chance of scoring That's based on what I’ve seen at the reserves and not what I’ve read
-
Davie apparently down seeing his Consultant in the Fortius Clinic today to get the final clearance to resume playing.
-
The Accies keeper took even longer to launch one from a free kick for offside in the 2nd half
-
YThe fact that the pie stalls were closed 10 mins into the 2nd half with loads of stuff left says it all about what our fans think of the way Accies treat us. I hope they lost a fuckin fortune today. How they survive on the gates they get is a mystery to me.

Donnelly impressing at centre half didn't surprise me in the slightest. Seen him playing there for the reserves on a few occasions and he’s always looked comfortable.

Thought the atmosphere in the Motherwell end was brilliant that night As for the rest of the ground that was non existent

When you’ve got wingers that can’t tackle or give up the ghost when they lose the ball and full backs that constantly get caught out of position our flanks are horribly exposed. For me that’s where one of the main problems lies.
-
The only thing that worried me today was the amount of times their wide players got the ball with our full backs nowhere near them.

I’ve long thought that the compliance procedure should be taken out of the hands of the SFA because of this bias. Get someone from the English FA or similar to review any incidents and pay them for an unbiased view instead of employing someone full time at Hampden who shits himself anytime Rangers or Celtic are involved because of the flak he’ll get from the media.
