Crowd For Ibrox - League Cup Game

Cannae wait.First time in years im genuinely expectin to get a result. Can u imagine bein up 2 0 with 5 mins to go?The orcs would be goin mental.. -
Lost 2 -1. Missed 2 penalties and scored a late consolation. We must have created a dozen good chances but unfortunately bad finishing some excellent goal line clearances and a brilliant display by the Hibs keeper kept us out. Hibs created a good few chances as well and were just a wee bit more clinical as well as a lot more experienced than us.

Great performance and result. I no longer worry about the small squad as I think the young boys who have come in have shown that they can step up to the mark when asked.Would like another central midfielder right enough.Thought that with a young back line Inverness would bully them in the air but that didn't really happen. Thought Las was immense today and he looks to be getting back to his best. Won loads of 2nd balls and talked the young boys through the game. Humph's run for the 2nd goal was superb and cant wait to see it again in the highlights. Shinnie will be having nightmares about him tonight

Gift from our sponsor so I'm led to believe so didn't cost us anything

Zaine for me as well. The one in the first half where the big Killie player tried to foul him and Zaine just shouldered him straight into the turf was sublime as was his last ditch tackle.Think he would give Humph a run for his money over 100 yards as well. Could turn out to be a great find

OK Ojamma can be a greedy wee git at times but I thought his energy and persistence today meant that the Killie defence were being pulled all over the place. Thought we were excellent today and took the game to Killie, Just need a wee bit more composure in front of goal (Murphy excepted today). Great to see the young ones on display, particularly liked Angol who is very strong on the ball.

7 buses going in total last I heard

Yeah Dee well said and I think you speak for 99.9% of 'Well fans. I watch (and film) all the guys in most games and all they are interested in is supporting their team.

Maybe including all the players and officials!!!! Junior clubs are a wee bit prone to exaggeration. Forgot about the goalie. The triple save he had in the 2nd half was superb.

About a hundred or so maybe a wee bit more

Heard that we were going to play a lot of the u 19's but they were playing up at Dalzell Park so the younger ones stepped in. Must admit it was like watching a Faithers vs Sons game but the young ones showed them that skill and pace makes up for brute force and size. Could have been even more if we had taken our chances in the last 10mins when we had a real go at them. Big curly haired guy at the back No5 the No2 and the wee blonde No9 up front looked very good (sorry no team lines so don't know their names)

Maybe stating the bleeding obvious here but just on Ross County's website and unless I'm thick as shit, it looks as if entry to the game is by ticket only. Can anyone confirm if that's the case or not?. Wouldn't like anyone to travel up expecting to be able to PATG and find they need a ticket

I still think that a lot of people who would love to be part of the 'Well society but couldn't afford the £300 at once or in 4 instalments over a year are still waiting in the wings with money to invest in the club. I wonder if it would be possible if these people could pay in a fixed or variable monthly amount to a fund with the view that once they reached the £300 whether it took 12, 24 or 36 months could then become members ? That way they would have something tangible to show for their support and make them feel part of something. They can then do the same thing for the annual membership fee thereafter. Don't know what the legal situation is on that but I'm sure something like that would appeal to quite a few people(assuming something like this isn't already available?)

Paid again so another £15 on its way.

Thats 3 times I've seen him now and I think he's got better in each game. Must take time to get to know the players and how we set ourselves up. looks very composed on the ball and positionally wise he shows his experience. Not the best in the air I've ever seen but then he's not really an out and out centre half. I think he's worth taking a punt on, especially if he can play in more than one position.

My sister works for Sky and speaking to her earlier today she said that she had spent all week trying to talk people out of cancelling their Sky packages because of all the uncertainty surrounding the TV deal. She made a note of how many calls she had about it and between Monday and yesterday it was over 100. She also said that all her colleagues were saying the same, in fact it was the main subject of conversation in the canteen at tea breaks, a lot were worried about the effect on jobs if there were mass cancellations. Now you would hope that all this would be getting fed back to the hierarchy before they make a decision.

Was in Fir Park today to see how by big mate John was getting on refurbishing the disabled toilets below the main stand and had the chance to see how the new playing surface looked and am pleased to report that it looks absolutely SUPERB. Well done to all the ground staff.

Good thread started over on P&B about maybe getting BT interested in a TV deal of sorts. Suppose if we're thinking of boycotting Sky should they pull out then we could use our potential business to BT (or Virgin for that matter) to make them think about plugging the gap. Imagine if a couple of hundred thousand football fans who were Sky customers said they would all switch to BT or Virgin Would Sky feel threatened enough to negotiate a fair deal and would BT/Virgin see enough earning potential to consider making a bid Fan power and all that and someone to start a facebook page perhaps ??

Did you get my £20 Andy, didn't get an email to confirm but it is out of my bank a/c.

Big marquee on the astro behind the east that can hold 1000 people. In before and after the game for a few pints and a sing song/quiz/showing old games etc. I would def go for something like that.If everyone spent a tenner!!! Probably too many obstacles in the way for something like that though.

Still have my Arthur Black shirt from the 70's in the wardrobe. Lovely so it was, Amber with Claret piping and tabs with Amber staypress trousers and Doc Martins, now I think back I must have looked like a banana walking down the street

Been out of the country for 4 weeks so just bringing myself up to date with whats been happening. Has anyone else noticed something in the gate income information that doesn't seem to tie up in that they've said that income from the non old firm clubs is 300k or 26k average per game. We had 15 home games against the non old firm clubs so should the average not be 20k. Thought they may have quoted the income net of vat and the average inclusive of VAT but that still doesn't stack up. Not terribly important in the overall scheme of things but wondered if anyone else can shed any light or am I just still suffering from jet lag?
