  1. Kirky Lawson still goes to most home games and is a definite Well fan
  2. No doubt the undersoil heating would have been on at some points over the last few weeks which also takes its toll
  3. Different type of football now. Teams are bigger, stronger, fitter and pack the midfield denying other teams space. Just the way football is going these days, more about physicality than ability plus the fear of the dreaded drop and the financial implications that brings.
  4. Exactly the same conversation about 12 of us were having in the disabled section. Hope Mr Robinson reads these forums.
  5. It's funny isn't it that Celtic apparently have "loads of other goalkeeping options" according to Brenda so why do they keep coming back with increased offers??? Maybe their other options don't actually exist.
  6. Not to me but it obviously does to some of the doom merchants on here
  7. The linesman was standing on the corner flag looking right across the line with the post in the way so he's got that as a guide. Put his flag up right away with no hesitation so I think I "ll go with his view.
  8. Well he was at the Accies cup game apparently/allegedly
  9. When you've been on a poor run leaking goals surely it's common sense to shore up the barricades make us hard to beat again and get the confidence levels back up with a few good results. Then you can start looking to play sone of the open attacking football we would all like to see.
  10. Ziggy Gordon back in Scotland looking for a club apparently according to Accies forum. Could do worse but could do better I suppose?
  11. The school crossing patrollers could get some overtime out of it.Don't want them getting knocked down at all those busy road junctions and the local nursery could give them a loan of their Hi Viz vests for the day
  12. I wish your seat faced away from your keyboard
  13. Because in the past they have pelted our disabled fans (who would be seated immediately below them) with all sorts of objects and body fluids.
  14. Be interesting to see how the warmer climate guys in the Rangers team cope with a heavy pitch and pish weather if this monsoon keeps up
  15. I rarely post on here now mainly due to arseholes like you but in a day when we had a minutes applause for a young disabled fan who sadly died to come on here and use a word like that is unforgiveable. Why dont you go and crawl back under the stone you came out of.
  16. Having watched Caley skelp Accies a few weeks ago without even getting out of 2nd gear I can't see us getting anything out of this match. Probably the most solid back 4 I've seen this season which doesn't bode well for our non existent attack but maybe Killie firing 3 past them yesterday can give us a little hope but then again you've actually got to have a shot at goal to test that theory.

+1 For me its all about enjoying my football and to me as long as we are financially secure it doesn't really matter to me what division we are in although I would rather it was the top league but if it turns out to be the Championship then so be it. I haven't felt excited or entertained by the team for quite some time now and it's the prospect of that continuing which would make me stop going to games, not what division we were in.
  18. Leanne, I truly admire your attempts at trying to get us fans looking on the more positive aspects of the club. IB may well prove to be a great manager in time when he has his own team on the park and a good pre-season under his belt. I see the improvements in the background with new training methods (even the warm ups are better), new backroom staff and the young lads getting a chance, all positive and welcome but why:- Does he persevere with the same guys ( we all know who they are) who have failed to perform and make the same mistakes week after week. Persist in using the same tactics which have resulted in some of the worst football I have witnessed in 50 years of watching Motherwell. Has he been so far unable to improve team spirit and instill any fighting qualities. He does do a mean interview right enough.
  19. That surely must be the worse team of the day?
  20. 12 hours out of my life and £100 poorer the joys of following the 'Well. Wasn't going to go but was positive we would get a lift and a reaction with all the new players, sadly I was wrong. All the old frailties still there for all to see, no cover in midfield allowing Ross County to do basically do what they wanted with the ball. Long punts up the park to Sutton for the ball to immediately come straight down into our faces. As previously said, Erwin on the left , WTF when you've got Don Thomas the only spark we've had lately kicking his heels on the bench. At least the subs are now warming up with their new resistance rubber bands round their ankles. Some of the "Bois" not happy with things and waiting outside the players entrance after the game, anything come of that? We are in BIG bother and the sooner the players realise that the better. Only positive was the Goalie, at least he commands his area and the two new wingers look as if they might do a job. My last away game this season
  21. It looks as if Ian Barraclough is bringing in his own men.Do you envisage any further changes to the backroom staff?
  22. By far the worst refetee in Scotland. Had dealings with him when I was involved with the Juniors, he was bad then and hasn't improved any. The fact that his talk with his linesmen amounts to "You're there to tell me when the ball goes out" sums the guy up. Oh and 3 times Davidson leads with his elbow right under his nose and he doesn't even talk to him wtf!!!!
