  1. Just saved me a hell of a lot of typing
  2. The plastic seats at nearly every ground in the SPL are supplied by the same company so is a plastic seat say at Tynecastle for example more comfortable than the same one at Fir park?
  3. If we're looking at relocating and trying to keep costs down why not just move both the Cooper and South stands en masse and build two curved terracings using what seats/roofing etc that could be salvaged from the East stand meeting at each end forming a bowl of sorts.Alter the South stand to be similar in height to the Cooper You could either do it with both stands mirroring each other at the half way line and build a new curved terracing running behind both goals This would keep the current POD punters happy and give the Cooper punters a better view than they currently have. Alternatively one could go behind each goal and the terracing running both lengths of the park but current POD punters wouldn't probably go for that. Either way home and away fans would be easily segregated. Think that kind of set up could look pretty smart Don't know if the cost of dismantling/ transporting/alterations/extra materials and rebuilding would maybe outweigh the cost of just building from scratch though. I,m obviously watching to much of Le Salvager on the Discovery Channel
  4. I think we're in a catch 22 situation where we would need to borrow considerable sums of money to renovate Fir Park which we can't afford or hope that a developer would pay us enough for the ground to allow us to build a new stadium at Ravenscraig. Depends what value Fir Park has to a property company but I suspect not enough to fund a new stadium without help from 3rd/4th/5th parties which in the current economic climate would be a difficult task. Either way it will cost money which we don't have so the annual spruce up and fire fighting (literally) to maintain the fabric way well continue for years yet unless the economy takes a turn for the better or we get an unexpected offer we can't refuse.
  5. Kept gettin him and Omar mixed up. Crackin goal by Omar btw looked a lot better playing through the middle.
  6. Pretty sure he's no btw. It's an inbred thing. Thing that annoys me is on Clyde phone in you hear so and so from Motherwell has a point to make and inevitably he tuns out to be a celtic/rangers fan
  7. Just don't eat for the next week, you know you want to
  8. Well me and my son travel to every away game ourselves because he's a wheelchair user but I would def be interested in going to the away games on a bus, Means i can get a drink and I'm sure the patter would be great.Might mean I need a hand to lift him on and off the bus right enough. Would even change from drinking in the the Central to Allans if push came to shove
  9. Spot on, its like suffering the school bully for years then finally getting the chance to boot f**k out of him
  10. Remember the night well, Spurs players couldn't get on the bus quick enough after the game but I managed to get a couple of autographs. Probably one of the best atmospheres I've ever experienced at Fir Park.
  11. Crackin weeyin have you ever considered taking up songwriting
  12. Just noticed another crackin chant suggested by a 'Well fan on Pie and Bovril. Hello,Hello We're here for half yer dough To the tune of Billy Boys (if that wasn't obvious)
  13. Cannae wait.First time in years im genuinely expectin to get a result. Can u imagine bein up 2 0 with 5 mins to go?The orcs would be goin mental..
  14. Lost 2 -1. Missed 2 penalties and scored a late consolation. We must have created a dozen good chances but unfortunately bad finishing some excellent goal line clearances and a brilliant display by the Hibs keeper kept us out. Hibs created a good few chances as well and were just a wee bit more clinical as well as a lot more experienced than us.
  15. Great performance and result. I no longer worry about the small squad as I think the young boys who have come in have shown that they can step up to the mark when asked.Would like another central midfielder right enough.Thought that with a young back line Inverness would bully them in the air but that didn't really happen. Thought Las was immense today and he looks to be getting back to his best. Won loads of 2nd balls and talked the young boys through the game. Humph's run for the 2nd goal was superb and cant wait to see it again in the highlights. Shinnie will be having nightmares about him tonight
  16. Gift from our sponsor so I'm led to believe so didn't cost us anything
  17. santheman

    Kilmarnock

Zaine for me as well. The one in the first half where the big Killie player tried to foul him and Zaine just shouldered him straight into the turf was sublime as was his last ditch tackle.Think he would give Humph a run for his money over 100 yards as well. Could turn out to be a great find
  18. OK Ojamma can be a greedy wee git at times but I thought his energy and persistence today meant that the Killie defence were being pulled all over the place. Thought we were excellent today and took the game to Killie, Just need a wee bit more composure in front of goal (Murphy excepted today). Great to see the young ones on display, particularly liked Angol who is very strong on the ball.
  19. Yeah Dee well said and I think you speak for 99.9% of 'Well fans. I watch (and film) all the guys in most games and all they are interested in is supporting their team.
  20. Maybe including all the players and officials!!!! Junior clubs are a wee bit prone to exaggeration. Forgot about the goalie. The triple save he had in the 2nd half was superb.
  21. About a hundred or so maybe a wee bit more
  22. Heard that we were going to play a lot of the u 19's but they were playing up at Dalzell Park so the younger ones stepped in. Must admit it was like watching a Faithers vs Sons game but the young ones showed them that skill and pace makes up for brute force and size. Could have been even more if we had taken our chances in the last 10mins when we had a real go at them. Big curly haired guy at the back No5 the No2 and the wee blonde No9 up front looked very good (sorry no team lines so don't know their names)
  23. Maybe stating the bleeding obvious here but just on Ross County's website and unless I'm thick as shit, it looks as if entry to the game is by ticket only. Can anyone confirm if that's the case or not?. Wouldn't like anyone to travel up expecting to be able to PATG and find they need a ticket
