Hutchy! One of his best games in a Motherwell shirt, and probably his last! Honourable mentions to Reid and Lasley! Reid had Pawlett's number for the majority of the game and Keith got stuck in around the middle of the park!

Unbelievable Jeff!!

I had completely forgotten about putting Law into the team! Must be trying to erase him from my memory! But yeah, he was one of the stars of that team!

Was watching the DVD of all the goals from last season and it got me thinking about this. Who would you have in your team consisting of this years' squad and last years' with 7 subs. And do you think we would be able to challenge for the league with it?Here's mine GK: Randolph LB:Hammell CB:McManus CB:Hutchinson RB:Reid LM:Murphy CM:Lasley RM:Ainsworth CAM:Ojamaa ST:McFadden ST:Higdon Subs: Hollis, Hately, Ramsden, Carswell, Vigurs, Sutton, Anier

Cheers for clearing that up, couldn't see well from where I was sitting

Definitely thought we missed the quality of McFadden today. Can't really complain about the result as we didn't really have a clear cut chance to win the game. Too much fannying about with the ball in the final third. Anyone think we had a decent shout for a penalty? Can't really see why Anier(?) would have went down without being touched? Also I thought young Moore had a decent game until he came off.

Vigurs shiting on 4/5 county players in the last few minutes wins it for me. Great to watch! Special mentions to Reid and Carswell too!

Faddy and Vigurs completely ran the game! It was a joy to watch! Vigurs' pass over the top of the defence to Angol early in the first half stood out and did Faddy's one touch to bring the ball down from the goal kick in the 2nd! Also, it was great to see everyone join in with the "Stand Up for the Motherwell" chant today and the "KEITH" chant sounded amazing when he was substituted! Great day at the football!

Pearson and McDonald used to get dogs abuse whenever we played them. I also imagine Maloney would do from what I've heard about his diving antics. Derek Riordan, Gary O'Connor and David Goodwillie were always targets if I remember correctly

Don't forget when our games are on the telly!

Away to Celtic before the 2011 Cup final. We never played a full team but being pumped 4-0 was still sore to take. To this day I question why I went to it! The Dunfermline game during the Malpas season. The result was bad enough but having two of our best players sent off was even worse! Reynolds' red card still baffles me. As already said I believed we would be playing in the 1st Division after it! The St. Mirren Cup game. The game which made me hate St. Mirren! Awful. Simply Awful!
-
He was caught offside a fair few times which looked as if it made his head go down! Having said that he's played a lot worse!

Alan Freeland always springs to mind just in general. But I also remember Pearson getting sent off for apparently nothing against Partick Thistle around 10 years ago. And the League Cup game against Rangers in the McGhee season always sticks with me aswell for bad descision by the Ref

Worst Xi To Grace The Claret & Amber

Yes! Steve Jones! He was pretty gash if my memory serves me correctly! Fair enough with Franny, must have slipped my mind because I thought everyone played well in the United replay. -

Brian Kerr was always good for a half decent goal from the edge of the box, but I went right off him when he knew he was signing for Hibs at the end of the Malpas season and didn't give a fuck. Also surely Bob Malcolm should be given a reprieve for taking out Donati at Parkhead. I remember we signed Maurice Ross and Franny Jeffers in for the Cup final in 2011. Weren't particularly bad but they didn't really do anything, neither did the Northern Irish boy we signed that season. (Can't for the life of me remember his name though) -
Personally, I'm blaming this on a Masonic Conspiracy.

Best performance of the season against a half decent St Johnstone side. 1st goal came at the perfect time as they seemed to be getting back into the game after our early onslaught! 2nd half was all us basically! Good to see Vigurs finally coming into his own and getting his first goal. All in all a great way to start the year! Viva Well!

Thought we had the best of the chances and deserved the win. Vigurs had a good game today as did the two centre backs. McCall made the right substitutions at the right times as well. Hibs dealt with Faddy well and it looked to me as if he was getting frustrated. Didn't think McHugh had the best of games either. Sensible decision to bring off Lawson. Had a decent game but I could see him getting a 2nd yellow. I also thought the game was pretty narrow and we could have done better if we exploited the wings more. And I definitely think we need someone to make up for the pace we lost over the summer. Anyway, great start to the season and a brilliant bounce back from Thursday's disappointment!

No disrespect, but the saying is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and, in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with our badge at present. This might seem a bit narrow minded but for me, "modernising" the badge is just a no go area.

Is McAllister not a Motherwell fan? Anyway, if McCall does actually go, I'd be happy Mourinho or Benitez to be honest...

Still undecided. Nice try, by the way -

Each to their own, I just think it's pretty mental to have formed an opinion on someone on the basis of 4 games. -
Half decent signing, seemed to be a major part of County's team this season

How many games has Hollis played for us? 4? How people can be so dismissive of him when he's not exactly had a chance to prove himself is beyond me! Aside from the fact that he's not Darren Randolph and therefore will never be good enough for some people, he's not exactly had match experience with us. -
"Whatever happened to the Popular Bois?" "He's over there!"
