I reckon he would be on around 2 grand ish per week, @ a guess, and to be honest he is not a great player and would not want him back here anyway, played well at times, but overall average player that came good at the right time and got his big move.

Prob the best team to play at the mo, back to the attacking football, not sure the confidence will have been dented much from the Celtic game, still lots to look forward to and the introduction of Omar will add a little something to the mix, seen the lad play @ Bradford a few years ago, but he seems to have the added extra of being able to score the odd goal now and again. Higdon will have a field day Saturday, i am backing a 3 Nil win. Higdon, Law, Humphrey goal scorers.

Oh i see, back to the Humphrey issue, give it a rest Turd!

Thats why they are rumours, but it has made a change from Talking about the Union Jack Thing eh! Lets hope some of the rumours come off anyway.

Latest from the Rumour Site... Seems we like the Jamaican links! 08 Sep 2011 13:17:25 Jamal Campbell-Ryce has handed a transfer request in at Bristol City and has told Keith Millen he never wants to play for the club again. This has come after Millen told the former Jamaica international that he wants him to sort his attitude out. JCR is currently holding talks with Motherwell over a possible loan deal for January, which could be made permanent in the summer. Whatever the price, City will lose the price they paid Barnsley for him.

Bang on mate! cant see the point of trying to hold out, (If its not broke dont fix it) Hope i am wrong.
-
Defensive today..... Wingers will be ditched, pack the midfield, clearly going for the draw....
-
Thats a good shout, why cant we beat them, no good going into the game on a negative, lets play our natural game and see what happends, if we getted thumped so be it, but really cant see Celtic Thumping us. They are not at there best presently and arguabally we are... so lets really go for it and see what happens.

From your Favourite Football Rumour site! 08 Sep 2011 13:02:00 Patrick Cryne this week will come out and explain the financial situation at Barnsley. There are strong rumours that Barnsley could be close to administration if they don't get rid of players on pre contracts or on loan upto and in January. -Luke Steele could be in talks with Birmingham City after he was seen around the St Andrews area on Tuesday night. Chris Hughton is keen on bringing a goalkeeper in January and the high interest in the former England under 21 keeper is never ending. -Nathan Doyle is set to join Manchester United on trial after some very impressive performances for Barnsley last season. Doyle is only 24 years old and could sign a one year deal with United after Barnsley put a price tag on the former Hull City player of around £300,000. -Unsurprisingly Danny Haynes looks set to leave Barnsley. Haynes is apparently entering talks with Motherwell this coming week. Haynes is wanting to move away from Oakwell after a fall out with Keith Hill, with also the wages set to be cut. Haynes could be signed next week on a pre contract agreement. -Jim O'Brien is another player that has come under scrutiny at Oakwell and could join Rotherham United on loan next weekend until December 3rd. -Craig Davies could end up leaving Oakwell after being told by Keith Hill the pressure is on the former Chesterfield striker to score goals. Davies is wanted by former club Chesterfield on loan and a deal could be thrashed out in the next month. -Second choice goalkeeper David Preece will be mutually released and will sign a one month rolling contract with Swiss side FC Basel. Preece will still carry on doing journelism for Barnsley FC but is still wanting a couple more years playing professional football. -Barnsley have accepted a £100,000 bid from Swedish side Halmstad for Serb midfielder Goran Lovre. -Andy Gray has already been told by Keith Hill that he will be sold or loaned out and could see an incoming bid from Southampton either now or in January. Like all rumour site please take it for what it is

I agree, i must take some of the blame for that individuals outburst, they have made it a personal attack on me, and i for one appologise for upsetting yourself and any others. Any personal interactions can be made one to one, then im sure the need for abuse on here will be negated.

Its a valid arguement i make, and if my gramma does not meet your high standard i am sorry, its fact that FIFA dont see Scotland as high as we do, and to tell you the truth why should they, i have never once said Scotland was shite, just poor at the mo with Numty balls at the helm. I better check this for spelling before i post it, as thats the only come back that you had. Humphrey has nothing to do with this post, just the fact Scotland our not a good team. As reflected in the rankings. And please for once read the thread for what it is, not what you want it to read... They say im unrelenting.... 55th and 44th thats it.
-
What i have stated is fact nothing else....and because of that i am a twelve year old, or in fact Chris Humphrey, my rational is that Scotland National team at present are poor. What ever excuse we come up with its fact, and FIFA have reflected on it. And the sooner we all realise that we are not a good team the better. Who knows what it will be like later in the season, but now its very poor indeed.
-
Perfect example of Scottish football then isnt it ! But you obviously get my point, Murphy is mentioned every single week as a million pound plus player.... but he is know where near good enough to play for Scotland You get my point and i know that most in the Starting 11 are non Scottish, but if we were 100m percent Scottish would any of them be playing for Scotland, you know the answer to that already!
-
FIFA rankings have always been a subject to discuss, but i have only highlighted Scotlands ranking, Scotland are not as good as we think they are, i would not be confident that Scotland could beat any team in the top 30 at present, we have some great players individually but thats about it, the sooner Scottish team selectors start looking outside the old firm in the SPL for players the better, yes the EPL provides the classy players but do they really enjoy playing for there Country , i dont think so, Motherwell are sitting 2ND in the SPL thus far and there is not one player anywhere near the Scottish first 11.... This is wrong but it wont change untill the routes of the game change in Scotland, our poor performances in Europe just highlight our poor ranking in the world, Motherwell have been the only team in the last 3 seasons to actually show some fight in Europe, and yet none of our players are considered good enough.
-
Since my last post Jamaica have jumped another spot up to 43rd in the World. Question would we be confident in beating Wales ranked 117 in the World?
-
Having watched Scotland a number of times this season, they have looked poor in all areas across the pitch, Jamaica would give them a good go, thats not my point though, the point of the matter is Scotland at present are not a good national team, and that is reflected in the FIFA world rankings!
-
FIFA World Cup Rankings as of 05/09/2011 Scotland 55th Jamaica 44th Chris Humphrey was selected to join the Jamaica national Team, just like to point out they are much higher in the World rankings than Scotland, but Humphrey is knowhere near good enough to play for Scotland. We need to face the facts Scotland are not a good football team and to say a player is not good enough for play for them is a little rich in my eyes, especially when a team HIGHER ranked in the world want him to play for them.
-
There were also a better team in there last home match and they lost! Play as we are, if we try and defend we will defo lose, attack them and the jitters will take over.
-
Why should we change anything, keep it the same, we are second in the SPL, let them adapt to us. Confidence will get us through this one, and if it doesnt ah well Next! Looking at the teams this season thus far, i have not seen any team which will dominate for 90 Mins, Motherwell great shout for top 3 spot!

3 Nil Motherwell

I dont have a problem with people mentioning Humphrey in the negative, its the reason for there lack of confidence in him, lets face it Murphy has been shite since the ICT game and he has been free from abuse and still touted for a big move, so its all about opinions, if your fare about him i can accept it, not sure what it is but i will find some positive in most games he plays (as you have noticed). The main reason as highlighted before is his mistakes are more noticable than others, like Higdons, so Higdon,Humphrey and Hateley seem to be the soft targets for discontent or abuse. There seems to be a number of players exempt from abuse, what ever there performances are like, the Rangers game was a good effort but we were set up for quick ball, that did not happen we dwelled on the ball in Midfield far to many times and instead of releasing the ball early we were caught out time and time again. Rangers are a good outfit regardless of there missing players so losing to them is no disgrace, someone mentioned that there left back plays against wingers much much better than Humphrey on a regular basis......Who for instance.... regardless of the negatives about Humphrey most if not all teams in the SPL would like Humphrey in the team, less Rangers and Celtic of course. Now tonight, would be the perfect opportunity to play a strong team against Clyde, forget this lets drop players for this game , sod that go with your strongest team and work down, not the other way round. Higdon will not get a better chance to score than tonight, its a must, if it pays off than can only be of benefit for all.

Humphrey ?

And Sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Would deffo take a chance on this lad, he is lightening quick and can play on either side, great option to have in the squad, and has the ability to score goals, take a chance Stuart and get him in. Based on Murphy leaving only. Jennings Lasley Law Humphrey Daley Higdon That would be gleaming... Or if Murphy stays alterante between all 7 of them.
