Fare comment and a pretty good team there, but Murphy played alot worse than Humphrey did on Sunday, Higdon needs to score as he is growing frustrated as more and more games pass him by. I like the guy, he is a workhorse and Wed night is the chance to open his account.

Not sure Reynolds would walk straight into our team to be fare, the longer he stayed here last season the worse he got.

I have sat back today and went through the game from start to finnish, yes i must admit like most i am gutted with the result, although i did think we had a chance on Sunday, for large parts of the game we matched them and i would even go as far as to say we out passed them , the difference between the sides apart from a whole host of internationals up front was the ability to finnish the moves off with shots on goal. Rangers and Celtic are very good teams who have what it takes to finnish games off 9 times out of 10. I cant see any other club in the SPL doing that to us this season. Rangers and Celtic aside, i honestly think we are playing some good stuff at the mo and with the odd signing have the ability to finnish in the top 3 or 4. We were out thought yesterday not fought, i am still positive about the Team and am looking forward to another interesting season ahead beit frustrating at times or not. Next!

Dont change a winning team unless its needed...... and yes your right i think Humphrey should play and i always will think that, so do i really need to go down that route again... you know the answer i am feeling positive about the game as per norm. In answer to your question i would keep it the same Forbes done ok last week so start him simples! And form players there has only been three games Ladywelltoi hardly players player of the year material yet is it, Humphrey might of had a slow start, but he is due a good game (well to your high standards anyway). I am happy with the work he is putting in, it might not look like he is but it not all about having the ball, sometimes just having you on the pitch is enough to create. I will leave it at that. Rangers have not looked convincing to me this season, they were terrible in the Euro match, needless to say playing against Motherwell is a different proposition all together, i honestly think we have a great chance to win this one, ill not mention the team i want to start but, i can agree on some posts further up on this board, We are going into this match as leaders of the SPL, thats a first surely, and with that the extra confidence that intales, Keep the defence the same as we dont have any other options, Higdon is playing well its just a case of when he gets his first goal now, all out attack for 20minutes and see where that leaves us. One way or the other we need to test them, this will result in a good thumping or Win under our belts, we proved we could do it against Celtic last season now lets prove it against our bogey OF team.

No its quite the opposite, although on most occasions i would agree myself that some form of criticism is merited, what i wont accept is comments along the nature of he does not deserve to wear the shirt, they are not merited, and as long as people put cutting unfair comments and or posts i will fight his corner, regardless of what you say. I dont set about any players in the way he gets volleys of abuse from most directions, if the truth be known he might not be playing at the top of his game but he gives 100% every match and believe me he loves playing for this club and i for one will continue to support him through what is proving to me a tough start to the season for Chris. There is a fine line between Constructive and Negative points of which i agree, he will realise his potential if the support keeps coming, give up on him before the season starts and i fail to see benefit from berrating him constantly. We are top of the SPL, not conceded a goal, so whatever has been done on the training field seems to be working, players play to a system of which the gaffer sets out his plans. Like it or not thats what happens, individual players do as there told nothing more, sometimes its works, sometimes it does not, on this occasion he did not touch the ball as much as he normally does, whether it was the system or not who knows. But come Rangers game he will be out there again trying his best and hopefully for 'nethertonwellfan' and the rest of us he will fulfill his undoubted potential.

Did you forget about the 3 he set up last week which were missed by Murphy x2 and Jennoe, Humphrey will start next week for that reason. Get off his back man!

Humphrey played a more defensive role at St Mirren, and no doubt that was at the request of the gaffer, next week different game different circumstances. Bring it on.

Great three points and top of the SPL, but do we really have to slate our own players for being a waste of a shirt, we won the bloody game .FFS. Dont you think that comment was a little harsh, if the true been known there was about 5 or 6 players that were not up to much yesterday but they won as a team. Give me strength. I will leave my thoughts on that untill after the Rangers game, then i think i would be better postioned to guess are final position in the League, but having seen whats on offer from Hearts i cant see them being a major force to be reckoned with. Another two players drop out the national team and STILL no call up for Murphy, isnt he the joint top scorer in the SPL presently.

Without him in the team its weaker without a doubt, he has played down the middle before and believe it or not he was a striker at West Brom in his younger days. Me for one is more than happy with his work rate and i know his end product can only be judged on goals scored, maybe if any of the three chances were converted yesterday we might not be having this Soap box issue.
