Thats a good point you have Real Doseer, the passing game looks good on the eye, but when the right players use it, not the likes of Craggs and Saunders, defending is there forte, not expansive passing. Stick to the basics boys!

We have that every week mate, frustrating at times but exciting to watch, it will all click into place soon and matey from the stand will have to find someone else to moan about! I thought Humphrey done well yesterday with his usual shinners thrown in. As long as he makes those mistakes he will stay Motherwell, as soon as he becomes mistake free he will be hounded out by other clubs. At present he is a major cog in the works here at Motherwell and box office regardless if you like him or not. Keep it up Top of the SPL.

I great result yesterday and a good performance all round, yes there were a few glitches, and some outstanding performances, Hateley the highlight, Higdon linked up well with both Murphy and Humphrey, ok the end product is not always there from both wide men, but its coming and we are creating lots of chances or at least positions to get the ball in the box, Confidence seem to be high, and the longer the season goes on the better we will become. Law impressed me yesterday but it appeared he sat back a little more than usual, when they went down to 10 men he flew forward and we could/should of added to are tally. Im starting to like Higdon and a goal next week would be the best thing for him. Same team next week less Lasley, throw Forbes on the park somewhere. Play with confidence next week and all 3 points will be heading for Fir park. Well done all the lads keep it up!

05 Aug 2011 12:13:56 Sheffield Wednesday central defender Mark Reynolds set to move to Aberdeen on a season long loan deal where he'll link up with his former Motherwell manager Craig Brown. Reynolds has failed to settle in Sheffield and has had a number of fall outs with Gary Megson who refuses to use him in his favoured central role and continues to play him out of position.

Give me some credit for gods sake! Not Guilty, it was just as funny for me reading the article.

Fresh from our favourite Football Rumour mill (Well 31st July 2011) 31 Jul 2011 01:57:47 Blackpool are in talks with Billy Sharp and Darren Randolph, both are expected to sign in the coming days. Sharp will double the clubs record fee, at 3 million. Whilst Doncaster had earlier rejected a bid of 3.25 million this summer, Blackpool's is not expected be in installments. Chairman Karl Oyston is determined to keep the deal under wraps after other deals were scuppered. Speculation over Goodwillie will persist as the club is actively attempting to guise the Sharp transfer by releasing false information regarding Goodwillie. Blackpool had been scouting Mothewell midfielder Chris Humphrey during the course of last season, and Randolph court the eye. Following his recent spectacular peformances in the SPL this season, Blackpool have made an approach.

Chris would not have a problem with any song about him, he is a sensible kid, and i dont see where the (Racist ) slant comes from, the best bet would be to just remove the thread as it clearly upsets some people and unfortunately rightly or wrongly thats all its takes to become a (Racist) issue. And the last thing we need to be discussing is Racism. Lets chat about ripping grainger on Sunday instead. And for the record Chris Loves being at Motherwell and he loves all the fans. (My opinion)

Cant wait for the match Sunday, Hearts is a tough test but they can be beaten, Hateley and Humphrey were not the only players to have off games last week, last week against Calley thistle they worked very well together, in fact they were awesome down the right, i am excited about this game, win this and people will be looking up at Motherwell for another week. I want positive feedback after the match Sunday re Hateley and Humphrey, lets hope i am right, i have full confidence in both of them performing, and Murphy to get back to fireing on all cylinders. Close match 2-0 Motherwell.

Lighten up, it was an attempt to make excuses for the players nothing else! Your top of the SPL stop moaning for god sake, i was being light hearted and as normal a post from myself sets the head hunters off on a tangent. We have a pants manager. We are pants at the back. We cant cross. We cant score. We cant create. We cant attack away from home. We cant score goals. We cant take players on. We cant find players in the box. The list is never ending. But what we can do is( bloody moan) for Scotland. We have 4 points in 2 games, and are sitting on the top of the SPL. But we CANT stay there can we.

Of Course Sorry Pele!

The prob with playing this early in the season is that the pitches lack zip or too much zip, prob not the best excuse for the Pro footballer but it does play a major part, that might be the reason that some of the touches and passes of the players caught them out, the ball is not traveling as fast along the pitch/or traveling to fast, so they are getting there to early/Late hence mis timing runs, passes. Im sure as the weather cools down and the winter sets in conditions will improve for a more entertaining style of football. Scotland like most main land countrys in Britain dont know what its like to play in blistering heat and rock hard pitches so thats the best i can do for any sort of excuse.

Murphys agent has done a sterling job over the last few months, it would seem he is a world beater at present, but untill the club recieve that offer it means nothing, i reckon the lad will stay untill at least Jan 2012, but he will need to forget about performance like yesterday and get back on track, as interest soon fades.

Players have off games all the time, second game of the season they can only improve!

Top of the SPL

A fare result if i am being honest, a point away at Kilmarnock will be hard to come by if today is anything to go by, a good effort, and a point keeps us top of the SPL. It makes good reading, as for personal performances, all round good effort, Humphrey was seen more in his defensive mode which in part kept there left back pretty much in tack, his defensive side is improving, as for the midfeild some good link up play, Murphy pretty much coasted through the game with no real endeavour, Mchugh was ok, it was a big ask for him to come straight into the starting lineup and be a star but he done ok and had our best chance. Randolf was solid, and pulled off some good saves, but i am happy with the point and still unbeaten. WE NEVER LOST.
-
I am in two minds here really about Murphy, firstly i agree with Mcall that he should stay another season, but the dangers are that at present he seems to be flavour of the month, lets hope we dont do a Reynolds with him, thought we held on too Reynolds far to long, as his value dropped massively as the season went on. Our best price could come now for Murphy as he will go one of two ways.... be worth nothing in 6 months or Millions, i suppose thats the gamble we take.
-
I cant believe it, Diddy Willy aint worth a million! mad money me thinks.
-
Owe no your ganging up on me! Well im off my head then... Dazzer(offyourhead)

Ya Bezzer what he is worth and what you get our two totally different prospects you know aswell as i do that at present knowone will pay a Million for Murphy, Rangers will test the water i think, but Rangers will want to sign someone if there poor start continues, at present they do not look impressive , Hearts more than matched them last week and as stated previously (Whether he is a god at Rangers or not) McCoist will have to take some incoming from the fans. Ok its only two games into the season and they are looking at exiting Champions league b4 the comp has even started. As for the fans being happy with getting Murphy your prob right, they wont be happy, but Murphy and Little Willy are hitting the headlines. and Rangers will want to cash in on the Press linked to these players, hence Celtic have been mentioned over the last few days. Never say never, and for the record i believe that Murphy is better than anything Rangers have at present.
