At the end of the day, we didnt finnish the chances, simple as that, we cant play the blame game on any of the players, they lost as a team, but created plenty of chances to win by a country mile. How we can even start to blame one or two players is beyond me, they have put in plenty of effort throughout the season (including the out of contract players) surely a player coming to the end of his contract will try harder in order to win another one, with the club or elsewhere. I dont buy this idea, players like Hateley, Humphrey arent trying. It was just one of those games, that if chances were taken we would of won by at least 3/4 goals.

Positive point on game being called off. Suppose another good point is that, it was the last chance for any scouts to see the players, for any last minute bids.

Andrew, Im pretty sure thats the whole point of a forum, so its not just your opinion, that gets posted, for the record, I prefer ZFA at left back than Hammy, and would have Mchugh before Higdon, this weekend, after his four goals midweek. Thats my rational.

I understand what your saying,I personally feel we need a quicker tempo at home at present, and Mchugh gives us that, Nothing against Higdon, and I know he is the top scorer, but we seem to play better football, when we dont result to the percentage ball into the box.

I think the main worry will be the players leaving cant be replaced with the finances the club have, the likes of Randolph, Humphrey, Higdon, Law, Hutchinson, and of course Murphy, wont come cheap, and while most of the players are still at the club, we need to make the most of them. For arguments sake, Randolph must be worth at least 350/750 K surely, if not more, but trying to replace him for nothing wont happen. The Club need money, its simple, Money for Murphy was money which we wouldnt of got in the summer.. so its a great deal for the club orbeit not much of it. I genuinely think most players will leave in the Summer, but as long as they dont do a Jennings on us, good luck to them.

Of course he would, He came from the Lower Leagues in England, he is more than capable of handling the physical side of any league, and im sure knowone in the Lower Leagues in Scotland could get anywhere near him anyway. Im sure he would rather play elsewhere though, but he is showing very good form of late, so its no supprise other clubs are sniffing about.

Well put together, not sure how many of the players mentioned above are first team players, would be interesting to work out the percentages. Motherwell if you include ZFA as first team would be losing 77% of the first team! Ouch.
