Gutting performance, we looked lack luster up front, and never really looked like scoring, Aberdeen were not great themselves to be honest, OJ done ok, and at least looked to have a go at the back four of aberdeen, Higdon penalty was hit @the perfect height for a keeper to save, hence him saving it... Murphy anonymous yet again, offered nothing going forward, and the reason Aberdeen never needed to double up on him (as a result of that OJ had no space to create or to run into), Lasley challenge was horrendous regardless of his intentions and could of easliy ended a players career. That aside i think that the game is done and dusted now, no other worries apart from the league, bounce back next week with a win. Law or Murphy to step aside and Humphrey back in, OJ and Humphrey will work well together and it might stop the hopeless balls up to higdon to flick on one in ten of them. Important to bounce back, McCall needs to take it on the chin, and look to move forward with change!

Which ever way you look at it.. Motherwell is the club to be at.... wont be suprised if we get some big names taking pay cuts over the summer just to be involved with European Football....You would be mad to leave Motherwell during the summer.

Most players contracts will involve pay rises each season...along with add ons, if selected for internationals etc! Signing new deals or extending will almost certainly mean more money. There is a fine line between speculating to sell and losing out on money for players, Murphy deal falling through would of hurt the club big time, although they still might make some money off him in the summer. Humphrey attracted a number of clubs last season, but obviously he has not been in the shop window so he is another player the club missed out on selling... its all fine lines. Play well or sell..that seems to be the choice, not both of them.

No he is not better as a super sub.... we cant keep leaving him on the bench, he has earned a chance to play Sunday.... Drop Murphy or Law, let them have a rest... my preferred option would be Law... Murphy seems to be playing ok at present. If we leave Humphrey out again at the weekend, we would be in danger of him wanting away in the Summer... He turned the game in our favour... give him the chance to start he deserves it. I dont buy into this Super sub tag, regardless of his ability to play from the bench... He will be buzzing after Dunfirmline match, and will rip Aberdeen to pieces Sunday... lets not kick him in the balls and leave him out again.

Got to be Humphrey for me... when he came on , he provided space for Murphy and OJ to run into... good impact, deserves my Vote!

Can i ask for Humphrey back in now... i have waited since November....Humphrey and OJ will terrorise Aberdeen back four.... exciting prospect!

Team pretty much picks itself..... Daley in as usual... out wide... plays 60 ish minutes comes off Humphrey on... im sure thats the normal play.... No suprises i doubt. That should be enough to beat Dunfermline... I live in hope....

The club would accept anything from 100K, at this stage he is worth around 200/250k Max, judging on prices for players in and around his (as yet unproven)) ability. He is scoring goals in the SPL, unless he is scoring 20/25 goals a season in the SPL his value wont really increase due to the level of football played in the SPL. OJ would be worth much more, as it stands CURRENTLY.... in the price market pureley because he has played in other Leagues, not really scored any goals as such, then he lands in the SPL and becomes a goal scorer (Coincidence) or fact. SPL would be compared to lower half League 1, in parts, give or take the odd couple of teams. Would love to get 300/500k for him, but my feeling is that we would sell at much lower.

Higdon.... Attacking.....

I would like to see Humphrey/Daley back in, not because im his only fan but the fact we can still have that attacking look to the team. Humphrey/OJ can work well together much as Daley and OJ can. I want Humphrey back in the start line up, but i have that sneaky feeling that Daley will slide straight back into the team due to his ability to play anywhere asked.

Its time to get the tin opener out!

Someone has to come in.....Not sure McCall rates Carswell that highly.. although he does seem to mention him in despatches quite often! I reckon Craswell we be used from the bench... incase the all out attacking option does not work!

The introduction of OJ, is the reason LAW AND MURPHY are or seem to be scoring more goals not the position they are playing in, OJ frees up the space, by attracting defenders over to him. Law in central Midlfield would work just aswell as him outwide, as long as OJ plays that will be the case... Pretty much the same for Murphy. As for the game, i would not like to see him change the defence (but hold my thoughts on that one) as Craggs will be bending his ear to start, but then again i thought Craggs would of came on for Murphy as soon as Lasley was sent off, but he never.. so that might tell us something. I would like to see Humphrey/Daley back in, not because im his only fan but the fact we can still have that attacking look to the team. Humphrey/OJ can work well together much as Daley and OJ can. Looking forward to this one, Hopefully that numty for Hibs will be sent off in the second half... That aside i think we should stick with the attacking formation, i would not revert back to Craggs, as that could be seen as a backwards step. More than likely see Daley thrown in somewhere as he seems to be McCalls trump card who indeed is pretty versatile. The difference is moving the ball with pace, and not the slow methodical build up through the middle, Higdon was never going to chase balls down, like OJ is doing at present, and taking the last line of defence players on, puts the fear in to defenders. The set up is working, and is good to watch, Higdon wont score many more goals as an individual, but the team will benefit as a whole. Cant argue with the start eleven at present. Keep the attacking frame of mind and 3 more points wed, will be there for the taking!

He will be back in the start eleven soon im sure, but anyway same team as last week, is an almost cert, but same as last week no goal for Higdon, and Humphrey to come on late on.
