I'd rather sign him permanently, I was very impressed with him last year and actually said that's the type of player we should be nabbing from Celtic as he's in the thoughts of the Australian national team - easily make money back on him as he will never have a career at Celtic. I agree with the loan comments but let's be honest if we're taking him on loan from Celtic, odds are he will never play for them and if we have an option to buy or quite simply just sign him at the end then yes, it's a good signing.

Ive known him as a player for years, since youth level at Celtic... He had one good season with County in a team he was comfortable in that he had played with since the second division. Hes a solid trainer, just fails to emulate it consistently on the park. Kettlewell and Brittain are at the same level, says it all.

Sorry were not Man Utd but we need to make nostalgic marketing signings to get the numbers through the door. Clarkson is not a bad signing, 9 in 19 for Dundee last year. Imagine him playing for a team that can actually attack with fury. You need to take a chill pill, judge Clarkson when youve seen him play for Motherwell in 15/16 season.

I think it is a Baraclough signing. I get the feeling hes going out to please the fans to get us back through the door. He seems to have bought into us, hopefully the majority of the fans have bought into him.

Youd think if Livi wanted a 30k release clause met, that maybe Motherwell could meet them in the middle and propose that they keep the gate receipts from all our friendlies were playing there... Assuming the rumour that we are playing all our friendlies there are true. Livi arent exactly in a position to knock back 15-20k when they potentially could get nothing.
