I'll never forget Aniers debut in a friendly, absolute murder BUT i think this was just sharpness. I liked him and he done well. I also think a Mr Ojamaa has advised him that the club needs the money and a transfer fee will put him in good light, like Ojamaa and his agent who you guys have spoken about has literally taken the clubs best interests at heart, in turn lining his pocket. Humphrey was of about the same ability at his age. Its amazing how short some peoples memories are. ZFA is a good player, he keeps the ball well and is positive but he should not be allowed to cross the halfway line and defend. I agree with Jam20, youre all bored!!

I think the McGowan deal is a goer. I know the family and they're being coy about it rather than just saying no. Not so sure if if appreciate him at the club knowing what his personal life is like. But McCall is the magic man, so you never know. Also on McPake. Bellshill lad. I'd take him. Good player in a bad team but wasn't part of the end of season down fall really. We need a McPake!!

I think the key thing to note is that McMcanus is a leader not only on the park but in the dressing room, by him signing first is massively encouraging because folk will follow suit.

Remember when Chris Humphrey came to the club, he was border line useless... Ainsworth looks a little more accomplished, a bit more game time, a secured future and injury free and I think we could have an absolute gem on our hands. We need a more goalscoring midfielder, hopefully Vigurs is coming out his shell and I'd love to see Carswell be pushed on a bit more, like a young uncle Phil!

We lost to Kuban at home and ruined all hope of us doing anything over there. We have Aberdeen on Sunday and the team arrive home on the Friday. Id take beating Aberdeen over a trip to Russia any day. Great decision from McCall, disappointing but we cant have everything. Its only the start of a long season.

McManus proved to himself that he chose the right club and that showed in his performance that he was happy to chose us. He casually strolled that and if he was in the Hibs team they wouldve won. I went for Vigurs though, delivery and willingness to create was there and despite not having much in front of him.

Between McManus, Vigurs and Angol for me, i went with ZFA... Lots of positives about last night and im very enthused by what we have but ZFA was a real breath of fresh air and I cant wait to see what he has to offer us this year, hes deserved of his chance.
