This is crazy, McMannus would be a major coup. As said previously, captained a cup and league winning team more than once, captained Scotland, Boro most recently and if he came to Motherwell and played alongside Hutchy then that might be the answer to stop how many goals we leak... Id rather be in our position, losing the players weve lost, we have replaced them with some quality already... Look at Dundee United, theyve done heehaw and lost their best players then brung in players who have no SPL experience whatsoever. Ive always said signing International goalies from rubbish nations is a good thing, they play against some of the best players in the world and its their job to prevent it from being 10-0 as alanbmfc has said he done... We are a much more desireable club to play for, our pitch is better, our support is noisier, our players are attracting interest from more appealing teams other than Rangers or Celtic, were in Europe every year and we have a manager that people want to play under not only because of his playing history but because of the way he has our team playing. Only thing missing, silverware. Money aside, i believe we have the monopoly of the better players in the league that are looking for that next step before a bigger move. Vigurs-like.
