Hibs have got the potential to be the 3rd best team in Scotland. Granted they've been pish until February this season but if they could sort out their defence and goalkeeper they would have a good team. Much bigger fanbase than us and Killie, getting over 13000 at their game at the weekend there.

Getting paid £7000 a week and playing in front of 20,000 every 2nd week is hardly a step down. Graeme Smith and Stephen Hughes couldn't compete in League 1 when they got their 'big' moves last season. Rangers and Celtic would probably be in the top half of the championship, with Hearts,Hibs and Dundee United probably being able to handle themselves. The rest of the SPL is lower League 1 standard, top end of League 2 IMO.

Fantastic performance and result today. After Wednesday night's horror show i feared a right going over from them but delighted to be proved wrong. The defence looked a lot more assured without Craigan there and lets hope it stays that way for the rest of the season. Gunning and Hutchinson should be the first choice central defence pairing from now on. Mon the Well!!!

---------------Randolph-------- Page----Hutchinson----Gunning---Hammell -----------------Hateley---------------- ----------Jennings----Lasley--------- -----------------Forbes---------------- -----------Murphy-------Sutton---------- If the team decides to put in a bit of effort for a change we might have a small chance of getting a point but if it's the same as the other night we could be on the end of really heavy defeat. 6-1 Celtic

That's 10 SPL matches that McCall has now been in charge for. In this period we've only scored in 3 of these matches, won 3 drawn 2 and lost 5. 2 of the victories have came against Hibs, who were absolutely shocking at the time, and against a Hamilton side who can't buy a point at the moment. The win at Pittodrie was a brilliant result but that to date seems to be our only good performance under McCall where we've won. Granted we played well against Killie but couldn't take our chances. 2 good performances out of 10 matches is not good enough. The performances at Tannadice, Ibrox, McDiarmid Park and last night have been woeful. I'll give the boss a chance to the end of the season to see how we do but i have been far from impressed so far.
-
Disgraceful performance yet again under McCall, devoid of ideas, passion and fight. We've got a 'captain' that would rather blame everybody else for his mistakes on the park than take responsiblity and start acting like a leader. Said it for a while about Hateley being a useless c**t and tonight typified that again, more interested not getting his shirt dirty. The decision to move Gunning to right back was shocking you could see straight away that he has no ability to use his weak foot, like many others in the team ( Hammell, Humphrey, Lasley and Murphy to name a few). Celtic will demolish us on Sunday and can see them scoring at least 4. St Mirren thoroughally deserved their victory.
-
St Mirren were woeful yesterday so they shouldn't cause us too many problems going forward, apart from Higdon's physical presence that has caused us problems in the past. We weren't great on Saturday and we'll need to take our chances to beat St Mirren. Don't see there being many goals in this one. Boring game, 1-0 Motherwell.

Fantastic result, best win of the season by far. Absolutely gutted to have missed the game but still a great feeling to have beaten the pair of two faced coffin dodging c***s. Mon the Well!!!!!!!!

Live on Sky 1.15 Kick Off, Sunday 13th March. Had hoped that it wouldn't be on TV so we would take up a good support but can't see us taking much more than 1000 now.
-
Very little chance of getting through this one especially without Jennings and considering how pish we were up there a few weeks ago.
-
Not a great performance but job done so can't complain too much, need to be more clinical in front of goal though when we play better opposition. Decent wee ground where you had the choice to sit or stand and good prices for admission/food, the way Scottish Fitba should be. Good day out apart from the bus breaking down in Ayr on the way home.
-
Gutted with the result last night. First half was pretty even and we couldn't argue going in at half time all square. Second half was probably our best SPL performance under McCall creating a lot of good chances where we should of scored at least 1 of them. Not signing a striker during the transfer window could be a disaster. That's 6 games under McCall in the SPL and we've only scored in one of these games, we created next to nothing at Hamilton,Perth and Dundee but were unlucky not to score last night and against Inverness. We could get dragged into a relegation battle if our poor scoring form continues.
-
Considering Kilmarnocks reasonable form i would of thought they would at least bring 500 tonight as they've taken decent supports to most of their recent away games. If we can pressurise them from the start and close them down quickly from bye kicks etc then we should have a good chance. Doubt the like of Taouil and Eremenko will fancy the state of the park and the weather conditions tonight so hopefully we'll use the conditions to our advantage. Cammy Bell has looked a bit shaky in the last month or so conceding a lot of goals from range so would be worth firing in a few shots from outside the area to see if his poor spell continues. I would probably take a point tonight as i don't think we'll play to the standard that we did in the 2nd half on Sunday. 1-1 Murphy with the goal.
-
I would much prefer to be in Europe again than win the League Cup after some memorable trips the past few seasons. However the Scottish Cup is a different story, would love us to win that and qualify for Europe in the process.
-
Agreed about Saunders but he's better suited at centre back and in the future he and Hutchinson could be a good pairing there. Craigan has been a great servant to the club but he's past it now and should be left to pursue a career in the media come the end of the season.
-
Another pish perfomance last night. Probably didn't deserve to lose but we never looked like scoring apart from the goal mouth scramble in the first half which Murphy should have scored from. Soft penalty to lose but it's no coincidence it was Craigan to give it away. 6 penalties i reckon we've conceded this season Craigan giving away 3 and Saunders likewise. 2 of the week links in the defence that need removed. Hateley again was shocking last night with another heartless performance and deserves to get booed for his lack of effort that he has shown this season. So basically put Page in at right back, need a new centre back and get Hateley to fuck. Going to get hammered on Sunday if we play like we did last night.
-
Why? That's 3 consecutive seasons now that the pitch has been a disgrace and the groundsman still manages to keep his job. If we weren't having to spend so much money on the beach each year then maybe would have a small transfer budget to work with and be able to offer players better wages or still have Brown/Knox in charge. It was the same last year with the pitch looking fine around christmas time then 2 or 3 weeks later after they go over it on the tractors, for what reason i do not now, it is a shambles. Granted it is not as bad as the previous 2 years, at the moment, it should not be happening and MFC only have themselves to blame.
-
A bit more like it today. Solid enough performance in what will be one of the easiest wins of the season, Hibs are rank and can see them getting relegated if they keep up their minging form. Hutchinson was excellent again and if McCall is to sign a new centre back then it should be Craigan that's first for the chop if anybody.
-
Our defending in our last 3 meetings with Hibs has been dreadful conceding 11 goals in the process. Although both teams have been having trouble finding the net recently i do believe there will be goals in this game for both teams resulting from defensive errors. Hateley has surely got to be dropped for Page, who deserves a chance to show if he can hack it at right back. Going to be a tough game. 2-2 draw.
-
We need to change, it's getting all to predictable down the right hand side with Humphrey exchanging passes with Hateley until the ball is lost or Humphrey running in a straight line then running into trouble as teams have got wise and know how he plays now. As with the midfield above Jennings is the only real creative player, don't know enough about Meechan to comment and Forbes may have the potential to unlock a defence on a good day.
-
--------------Randolph-------------- Page------Hutchison----Reynolds---Hammell -----Lasley----Meechan---Jennings----- ---------------Forbes-------------------- ---------Sutton--------Murphy------------ Time for a few of the consistently bad performers to be dropped, Hammell would be included but there is no cover for him at the moment. If we play anything like we did against United we will get beat. 0-2 ICT.

Yet another abysmal performance last night. Sunday's win gave me a bit of optimism going into the game last night but that was dreadful from start to finish, no fight, passion or urgency shown at any time of the game. Humphrey and Hateley down the right hand side were fucking useless passing the ball to each other until one of them lost it. Hateley has been pish since last April and shows no heart or commitment when playing and that's summed up at their first goal switching off when Kenneth heads it across goal to allow Russell an easy header. Humphrey should of scored with our only real chance of the match. Poor show, both of them should be dropped on Saturday. Yet again the passing was poor, needlessly at times putting ourselves under pressure and on other occassions passing it straight to the opposition. Hammell and Craigan being the main culprits. Sutton was pish up front and never looked like winning a ball in the air against Kenneth. Murphy looked lively in the first half but was playing too deep and wide left isn't his position. Randolph was the only player to come out with pass marks making 5 or 6 good saves that kept the score down. Bottom 6 finish to be expected this season.
-
A much improved performance yesterday mainly because players were not being played out of position and that shitebag Gow was told to get to fuck. Big difference in the middle of the park having Jennings back, was delighted for him getting a goal. Fitzy did ok but it is still a position that needs strengthened and we could do with another centre back. Murphy and Sutton were excellent up front and it makes you wonder why Brown/Young constantly persisted playing Murphy wide left to facilitate Gow. Anybody bar the Old Firm in the next round and i'll be reasonably pleased. Mon the Well!
-
He's been terrible from October onwards and has cost us more than a few points making basic mistakes. Time for him to go at the end of the season.
-
Another pish performance today. Gow was rank again and can get to fuck. If Blackmans attitude doesn't change there's not much point in extending his loan as he's not looked interested one bit in his last 3 starts. Good away support just a pity again at New Douglas Park we fail to put in a worthy performance.
