On that vein, maybe another topic (but I don't know how to do it)? Funniest lines at a football match: Heard in the Cooper at a match v Celtic. Petrov did his usual in the box with the inevitable award of a penalty to them..."F--k sake ref. A hard-on would go doon quicker than him!"

Not so much mine or my eldest son's first game, but as we had been going to Fir Park for a number of years, at aged four we decided we'd take his little brother to his first game. It was Motherwell v's Dundee United on 29 December 2007! Happily, he caught the bug...

Got two flags on the car as I travel the country on business...In the window of my office (home) in Larbert got two flags and two cardboard cup cut outs with claret and amber ribbons. B.T.

It's not so much the song - but the way it's sung. Really stood out on TV during Ch/League games so could only imagine what it would've be like being there. Think it could be quite powerful (and as I said, intimidating) if we could pull it off in much the same way? Tosh

During Spurs Champions league run, I was always impressed with their "When the Spurs" sung in their slow, drawn out manner. Thinking it would be fantastic at Hampden : 16-20,000 claret and amber giving it all, could be quite intimidating... Maybe someone could tweak the words apropriately? Tosh
