What else could SOD have done, if anything Sondre was not aware what was going on round about him, he had no idea where the ball was, it was really unlucky the way the ball fell but you single out SOD
-
100% agree with this, I love the atmosphere as much as anyone and get we all have different opinions but a small minority of our fans need to get a grip. The guys were standing at the front after we scored so can't see the sudden need to throw a drink at that point just a coincidence that it nearly hit O'Donnell, I saw the guys looking for a square go and it made me think is it worth it going to away games. To be clear this is a minority
-
I beg to differ I saw it clear as day

As above the target was met within the first few hours, the remainder of funds raised will go to the season ticket initiative. The badges also sold out just shows how well he was thought off.
-
I thought Lamie had a good game. We need at least 1 more midfielder as well as Ohara coming back. SOD has had a poor start to season but i think he will get better. Good point to take from game. Lawless contributing was a pisotive.

As i said my hearing must have been off, sorry for the mis info but its def Jesse
-
Its def Debrah, i checked internet and saw forward then looked on transfer market and saw he is listed as CB.
-
Just to clarify my first impression was he looked ok but did say you cant judge in a bouce game, Kipre was used as comparison re physical presence i didnt say he was the next Kipre. As for watching from afar yoy may have a point as my hearing seems to have failed me, Christian was actually Jesse, now established to be Jesse Debrah ex millwall

The irish centre half from Leicester played. Another big physical cantre half who's first name was Christian, he looked not bad, he had a similar physical presence as Kipre. he looked a bit better than the Irish lad but hard to judge either of them. At half time an athletic looking central midfielder came, he was tidy on the ball, reminded me of the role Andy Rose played. Think is first name was Mikel or similar, i heard after game he has been training with us for 4 months but was recovering from a lengthy injury, he looked quite comfartable with the ball. Think there were a couple of trialists who didnt get on. It was a really tough game so hard to judge anyone of them espically from my point on the hill watching the game

We didnt create much today, Millwall controlled large parts of game, we had a few chances but nothing much else. Watt looked our most likely and Woorley looks like a good addition. They were a really good side, the Millwall fans i was talking to seem impressed with their pre season so not looking into this result to much

He hit a freekick over the 10 footfence behind the goal today

I watched the game today. O'Connell started the game along with another really physical centre half who had the same phyisicality as Kipre. His first name was Christrian. O'Connell didnt have his best game but hard to judge as Millwall were impressive. Donnelly played first half and played well. Van Veen played had some noce touches but looked a bit short of fitness. Woorley looks decent, never gives up and looks to have pace. At half time a trialist came on in middle of park, anotger big physical player, reminded me of Andy Rose, he looked calm on ball, his first name was Mikel and has been at the club for 4 months. Amaluzor came on, reminded me of Seedorf but a bit more physical. Max Johnston looked decent, Watt put in a really hard shift and Kelly made some great saves. Interesting that McGuire played full 90

As i mentioned in my previous post myself Andy P have co hosted on the MFC Podcast, last night Andy Ross and I were joined by Allan Burrows to pay tribute to Andy P We also decided to discuss pre season and have a general chat about Motherwell as that's what Andy would have wanted, il post a link if anyone fancies listening.

Absolutely gutted, had the pleasure of doing the MFC Podcast with Andy P and Andy Ross through the last year, he was such a good guy. Always the winner of any quiz. I had the pleasure of doing a podcast with Andy P in May talking about the cup final, the passion from both of us showed how much football meant to him. I will miss speaking to him about all things Motherwell, he had a photographic memory about our team. I send my condolences to his family who i know he spent alot of time with. RIP Andy, you will be missed

The whole lafferty situation is a no brainer for me, he scored loads of goals in a poor team last season, i think alot of fans dislike him due to his history with Rangers but say it was a player who hadnt played with Rangers/Hearts with figures like he had we would all be delighted. I will be happy IF we sign him, guaranteed to score goals and is an improvement on who left the squad.

The fact Foley and Nolan have never been mentioned makes me wonder. I get not giving all the info to our opposition but signing player in our current budget for them no able to make a 9 man bench is weird, if not fit then let us know. Im not exoecting medical records but progress reports would be good
-
I have found it strange re lack of updates re injured players. Nothing mentioned re Nolan, i havent saw anything re Foley. Very little re status of Lawless. Its mentioned Grimmy has illness hopefully he is ok.
-
Decent signing prob needed a more central striker, he has ability but his attitude appears to be an issue. Gives us an option to play him beside Long think that could work. Wonder if Ndjoli is the new Casper Sloth, is he injured?

Every time we have played a back 3 it's a disaster. Accies being an example. I think Mugabi against Celtic would be a nightmare. Let's go for it and try and attack them they dont like teams having a go
-
For me the fee is brilliant for us. I think he was decent but not the most exciting youngster I have saw. Look at what we got for Murphy, yes players are valued by ability but also length of contract just look at Hastie and Cadden. This was the time to sell James and I wish him all the best but to be honest I think it's a great deal for our club so well done to the board.

My preference is to stay at Fir Park. I'm surprised we are discussing this so quickly after the debt announcement. It's like were almost debt free so let's get into debt and change everything. Hearts and Hibs seem to have redeveloped well. If we do move I suggest we use Livingston as an example, I quite like the corners filled in, think it could generate a good atmosphere

Polworth was a joy to watch today
-
His performances do deserve a call up but do we really want him on the squad at the moment its filled with negativity. If Clarle prefers Hanley, Devlin and Mulgrew then let him crack on. For someone who travelled all over to watch Scotland I'm losing interest and no longer go to games even at home. I still wants us to win obviously but lost the passion I once had. Il be happy if he keeps the form he has had so far.

I recently had an idea to travel to Zambia next year and take unwanted Football equipment to give to the local communities. The idea has really taken off and I have collected around 30 full suitcases of used strips, boots, goalie gloves and balls. I would love to collect as many unwanted Motherwell strips/ tshirts as possible and donate them to one village and have a claret and amber village the photo alone would be amazing. I have a full set of 1992 Hummel away kits to take out with me. There was a story in the Hibs programme re my charity and was also on MFC Podcast. The MFC podcast has been a great help and together we may do a kit drive in the cooper bar at a home game to do a collection and possibly raffle a matchworn 1972 well top framed and signed by Willie Pettigrew. I cant upload any pictures but have a look on my Facebook for pictures and updates https://www.facebook.com/pepe.zambiafoundation.3 The MFC podcast has also offered my Charity Pepe's Zambia Football Foundation be named shirt sponser for Jermain Hyltons away top which is great. We are still a bit short on getting to the total needed so for £5 you can still enter the draw, if you win the draw you get one of Hylton or Seedorf away shirt and a place at the player of year dance. After the last few weeks they are probably the best shirts to win. I'm sure Andy will post a link for you to follow. Please get in touch if you want to donate any strips I'm happy to collect, I will update on this thread when I plan to do a kit collection there may also be a drop off in the club shop in near future. Thanks
