Why would we want a (less than) half full stadium for 90% of the games played there? Most people want to see us at Fir Park for sentimental reasons... And I would miss the stadium but I'd also love to see us in a new purpose built home. Soul, history and atmosphere would come to a new place given time. I wager that the majority of Buddies are happier in their new stadium than they were at Love Street.

It depends on how the rest of our season goes. McCall spoken on numerous occasions about his breif of top six and sell a player. We are a selling club. We made a healthy profit last term. That would manly have been down to the cup run. If we can repeat the feat or finish second in the league we don't need to look at breaking up whats been a fairly settled squad over the past couple of seasons. I'd be testing the waters with him for a year extension to his contract. This means we don't run the risk of losing him for buttons or heehaw further down the line and if someone does come in for him over the summer we can look at opening the bidding around £1M. I don't see us getting much more than £500,000 for him. He's too powderpuff for the championship and definetly not EPL standard yet, pehaps we could get a few add-ons on a deal like that too.

I'd hazard a guess that the email wasn't sent because offence was caused or he wants to see Zaliukas punished. This is more about testing the process thats been put in place to make our game fairer. Our club made a lot of noises about trail by sportscene which were dismissed by the SFA. So what going to happens if the TV cameras have missed this incident and what if the different 3 man panel come to a different desicsion should this case be investigated? To quote our club again... Thats perfectly reasonable is it not? I don't want to see Zaliukas punished because of this, but I do expect to see it happening given presedence already set (not only by Higdon but also by Griffiths). Should he be punished we can the look at this part of the MFC statement...

So if Zaliukas is done for this you'll have the perfect opportunity to tell everyone just how ridiculous this rule is. I'm pretty certain people aren't raising this because they were offended. It's because they want to make sure the rules are being applied evenly and the processes used to come to these decisions is fair. E.T.A. What our club said regarding Higgys suspension... Yep. Precedence has been set and the laws of the game must be consistently applied. It doesnt matter if nobody was genuinely offended by the gesture. Nobody was offended by Higdons.

I went for Randolph. made a couple of really important stops at times where to lose a goal would have been a big confidenece crusher. Special mentions to Oojamma, Las and Jennings.

I'd say that our league position at this stage in the season is bang on track. That said performances have been poor of late and improvment is definetly needed.

I thought Murphy and Lasleys bookings were stick ons. Player breaking and cynically tripped from behind. Professional fouls, yellows every day of the week and pretty much exactly what McLean got booked for near the end. I didn't really catch the other two.

Hear, hear... We all know its furstrating being 'Well fans, but some of the knickerwetting and abuse that was going on around Fir park today was obscene. I don't think I've enjoyed a single home match yet this campaign because of this kind of nonsence. The away games I've been at have all been great... Shame that.
