I'm almost certain he won't sign for Celtic. He'll go to a Premiership club.

I am very very much against selling him to Celtic for my own selfish reason of I fucking hate them, but this is just not true Grew. If he signs for them and makes the step up to the first team, he will be playing in the Europa League group stages at worst, and maybe the Champions League groups with a favourable draw. His week in week out will stay the same but he'll get about 8 European games minimum and a lot more money for it.

There's clearly a release clause in his contract. Many other clubs will meet it and there's almost no chance he'll go to Celtic. I hope.

Ty Richie, not on twitter but wanted to see. Some interesting comments about how we shouldn't be in any rush to sell. I think the club very much will be desperate to sell him, not because we are in dire need of the money, but because 3million is so much money to us and we won't want to pass that up.

Strongly agree with those saying that 3 or 4 million isn't unrealistic. 3m with a 20% sell on clause and a couple of small international appearance bonuses etc and I'd be happy with that.

Bit disappointed but hopefully he'll be in there when the inevitable call offs start.

I took in a Leyton Orient game towards the end of 2019 and I felt for Clay as he spent the whole game watching the ball get launched over his head. The whole game. The quality of football was utter garbage, but all 20 outfield players were built like tanks and rapid for the most part.
