I think it's safe to say our summer recruitment was garbage, and Robbo probably realised that himself. The work done in this transfer window could see us sneak into the top six and also see us potentially make a lot of money in a few years. It's been a great start to the year for us. Also bizarre nobody has called for Alan Burrow's head in the last few weeks eh?!

I wasn't there, I am going by what I saw on the highlights. As mentioned in the post you quoted. Suppose if it's not chat about big mean midfielders you don't really read it properly do you? Hastie does really well for the first goal and incredibly well for the third goal. The Livi keeper gets caught in no man's land for the first and for the third their first defender runs 40 yards without looking at the ball and then the other guy falls on his arse. It's not a case of one or the other is true and the other is false, they're both completely accurate. I can surely notice point two and comment on it without it being mandatory to say point one (that had been said many times already in the thread). It seems that people think because I notice a couple of errors in our opposition I'm saying that that was soley the reason we scored and nothing else. Of course Hastie is brave, and of course his strength, skill and quality shine through for the third. But to say that it was sheer brilliance alone and not some bad mistakes from Livi as well is just untrue.

I wasn't at the game, I said I was talking about the highlights. My post was merely an observation that a couple of fuck ups helped us on our way. There has been plenty of credit where it's rightly due, but it's not unfair to say that Livi could've dealt with the first and third goal better.

Just watched the highlights. A few things stood out to me... Take nothing away from us but the first and third goals were absolute gifts from Livi. The keeper for the first and two guys falling over for the third. When Gorrin wins the ball in the middle of the park for the second goal 99% of midfielders in the league would've knocked it to Grimshaw. Gorrin is good enough to keep hold of it and set us off on an attack. The whole team goes over to Main when he scores. You can clearly see we are a closely knit team and chat a few weeks ago about players not trying or playing for the manager were clearly way off. Ariyibi is something else, and Hastie reminds me a bit of Oliver Burke. He'sso direct. Bring on the next game!

We scud Livingston 3-0 and the match thread is 4 pages long. We lose at home to Kilmarnock and it's triple that alongside the Robbo thread growing by a few pages, and calls for Burrows to be sacked because he's out his depth etc etc...

Bit of a weird one regarding Hartley. Been a great character and given us some great memories in his time here. On the other hand he's been unfit for ages and has said some right daft things during press conferences. If he's a big earner and we get a fee for him I say we take it and put McHugh in centre defence til the end of the season.

Orrrrrr he thinks he needs a few goals to help the team he plays for/continue starting and it's affecting his game.
