Our second goal tonight oozed quality. Great control and pass from Clay, Moult holding it up and playing a great ball over the top for McDonald who did what he's done so well his whole career and got his body in between the man and the ball and finished excellently. Moult battled and battled tonight, really wanted him to score. As said at HT, Heneghan was quality tonight, and McHugh fair put himself about considering the injury he had. Great to see Faddy in that big raincoat embracing the players and clapping the 'Well fans at the end, definitely a future gaffer. Also special mention to our fans, absolutely superb all night and didn't stop singing.

Ben Heneghan the difference between 0-0 and 3-0 just now, he's been absolutely superb. Other than that we've been generally poor, a lack of possession and McManus' distribution is horrid. I totally agree about goal 2 and 3, and you're right about Heneghan for the first, but if Samson could pass a ball 20 yards he wouldn't have to have dealt with it. Encouraging to hear McGhee's comments, hope he rings the changes. Also was McManus mouthing off as he came off? He didn't look happy to be the one sacrificed!

Think you need to go back and watch the highlights again. Samson's pass is awful, and Tait is down the line offering for the ball. If he was in position he'd be a yard away from Heneghan. As for the 2nd, our midfield forces a guy to shoot from 30 yards on his left foot, and Samson gifts it to Rooney. A bad bad night for Samson, and a competent keeper would be able to pass a ball 20 yards and catch a tame strike from distance.

Sleeping pattern's fucked so just watched the game. Thought we were abysmal tonight apart from a 10 minute spell in the first half. Moult and Cadden had absolute mare's, and McDonald wasn't up to much either (worldy aside). Samson has to be dropped ASAP. Not only is he costing us goals but he physically can't kick a ball with his left foot and refuses to try and retain possession when the ball's passed back to him. Apart from a moment of magic by McDonald and a few crosses into the box we didn't really create a single chance from open play. Just grim stuff. Think we'll see Craigan at the helm at the start of next season. Also a special mention for the referee tonight. I think Madden's one of the better refs in the league, but that was nothing short of shambolic tonight. Heneghan is a lucky boy.
