I like the look of Clay and I agree with someone who said earlier that he looked a bit reserved playing next to Lasley on Saturday. I reckon in beside McHugh he'd be able to get forward a bit more, and might be more of a threat. Saddens me to say it but on Saturday it was the first time I'd seen Lasley play and thought he was past it.

Only skimmed through the comments but my thoughts are that McDonald was howling, Marv won't be going anywhere playing like that, Chalmers was very, very good and Clay was decent as well. Also get Brill in there ASAP.

I think the £300,000 offer for Johnson is actually probably quite a good thing, as it has given us the platform to publicly reject the offer and "slap" a price tag on him. Had Oxford not made that bid then we wouldn't have had the chance to do that.
